Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.

The view and location are great, big balcony overlooking the beach and in walking distance to cafes and restaurants. The manager, Gene, was also very friendly. Unfortunately if we’d have known the pool was closed due to refurbishment we wouldn’t have booked here as we could have stayed somewhere with better facilities for the same price. I think people should be advised of this when booking as the apartments are advertised as having a pool so it is expected. Parking is also an issue. We ended up in 3 different parks throughout our stay. Not sure why we weren’t allocated the right spot from the beginning. The room we stayed in could use some work. Tables in the dining and living rooms were rusty and the door frames also show rust. The second bedroom also didn’t have a fan controller. The apartment was quite small compared to other 2 bedroom apartments we’ve stayed in. We still had a nice weekend however.

We were 3, including my 2 years old. The manager monica was great with my partner and the another manager Gene was the best. He was so servicial and making sure we were comfortable and happy. The units are beach front so be ready for the best ocean view. There is a swimming pool and a spa. The place is very clean. We were in unit 6 OMG the best view ever from this unit. The balcony is massive. U won't regret. The unit is small but so comfy, modern, u get all u need. The shops are 20 steps from the unit. There is a restaurant under the building. It's good. We r leaving feeling happy and thank u to the managers for being such amazing people. We highly recommend this place... 2 weeks ago we were in a hotel in Tugun the Gold Coast and the managers were so aggressive .. and in here the managers are amazing ..

View was nice. Basic room. Very outdated and not very clean. We phone reception twice before our arrival to ask for early check-in and left messages and no one phoned us back despite us asking them too. Very overpriced for what is offered.

Thank you for your feedback, we are always disappointed if one of our guests is not satisfied with their experience. The room that you stayed in is priced according to similar offerings within the area for one bedroom apartments, which we monitor closely. We strive to ensure all our rooms are value for money within the market. We ensure that all rooms are cleaned before arrival and update features and appliances when the owners give us permission ( we manage on behalf of owners). For example, we noticed that all the teapots in the rooms needed to be updated, and they all have lovely new one's! We always respond to telephone calls, but if we did not in this instance, we are extremely sorry and do not understand why we did not! When we get negative feedback, it does prompt us to communicate to owners, so they too are aware of our guests expectations. If you would kindly email us about your concerns directly, we would appreciate it.

The website promised so much but the reality was very different: pool was under renovation, with the jack hammer going in the morning. Significant trip hazard in the main thoroughfare (photo). No sauna, no WiFi. As for new appliances see the photos. For the off peak rate of $290 this was poor value. Check in required 4 phone calls on arrival and another to discuss check out. To their credit, they discounted the room after complaining. The outdated room was warm however and situated in an excellent area.

Dear Shelley , This complex was taken over by NEW MANAGEMENT on the 1st February 2017. Lots of changes have occurred since then including updates and renovations in ALL apartments (as the individual unit owners are really happy with the new direction of this complex) and an extremely high standard of cleanliness and customer service that would NEVER EVER allow such an experience as you had, to occur. We actually asked Tripadvisor to remove the old , negative reviews as we were entitled to a clean slate . We are thrilled that we are building up and improving a fantastic little complex that sits rights opposite the patrolled beach , with views from every apartment that our guests are happy and content to return to. It is so sad that your experience was so bad last year that you felt compelled to re write your review. It seems the previous managers did not care enough about their business when it was for sale. All I can say is that if you came back now , it would not be the same at all.

Myself with 2 kids stayed here for two nights. We had an ocean view room which gave us a great view over the beach from both the living areas and the main bedroom. Living area not huge but big enough for the 3 of us. We had two bathrooms and they had everything we needed although the kids' bathroom didn't have a bath which wasn't a big deal for us. The main had a spa bath anyway. The balcony was a really good size. Beautiful furnishings and I slept at night with windows open so I could hear the sound of the ocean. Very relaxing. Lifts in this place too which is easier with luggage although a few steps to negotiate near the entrance to the apartment. Again, no biggie for us. As the place is on a main road it does get a bit busy but the location is great. And, right underneath is a very popular cafe - great for coffees!! I would stay here again.

Thank you for the positive feedback. We were not in charge at this time, just weeks away from taking over the business. We look forward to welcoming your family back as the NEW onsite managers and will ensure you get that same lovely room.

This is the 2nd time we’ve stayed here and enjoyed it again. Directly across the road from the beach, with secure parking underneath, it is a great place to stay. The rooms are spacious and tidy. We’ve stayed in the double room (room 6) which has a queen bed in one room and 2 singles in another. The room is fully self contained with a kitchenette too.

The balcony looks straight over the beach & there’s a bar / restaurant on the ground floor. Shops and other restaurants are just around the corner.

A great place to stay.

Stayed here for 3 nights this week in Unit 17, a one bedroom unit. This block is just across from the beach, close to shops and restaurants and is clean and quiet. However, at $600 for the 3 mid week nights, not cheap. The wi fi is terrible and keeps dropping out and the bed was so cheap and hard I didn't sleep much at all, my body is still aching. A couple of sun lounges on the balcony instead of the hard little chairs would have been great to lounge on and admire the view.
