The unit has a lovely view and is very spacious. However I was somewhat surprised to be charged for extra sugar when we were paying $300 per night. Bathrooms need refurbs badly. Lifts are daggy. Reception desk hours are very limited. Arriving at 4pm we were left key in lock box but no indication what floor the room was on. Mostly it's very good.

One of the best places I have ever stayed in

Incredible views from the room balcony.

Friendly reception desk, outdoor pool and spa were excellent .

Easy walk to the beach, cafes and restaurants .

Rooms are airy with a full kitchen with fans and air conditioners , my room had a spa in the bathroom.

We stayed on the 11th floor and had perfect views up and down the coast line. The unit was spacious and clean. The kitchen was well equipped (frying pans are a little scratched) but overall fine for a few days.
As we were up high the noise from cars etc was minimal.
We enjoyed our stay so much we booked the same unit for Easter 😀

The view being the only good thing about this room. Oh, and the pretty kitchen. The rest of the rooms are old, dirty, specifically the showers which were small and mouldy, it has been furnished from Vinnies, the beds are uncomfortable, hubby slept on the lounge for two nights, 80’s bathrooms and the floor tiles had a three inch “frame” around the bottom of the walls where the tiles were caked with dirt, yet the middle tiles in the room were clean, cracked glass wall mirrors, (which I guarantee a guest was charged for, yet it was never fixed)… you pay the same rate for this room as you do for room 44 which is really beautiful…. the staff are unfriendly on the phone and the manager really couldn’t give a toss, stating that any complaints about the rooms are the owners responsibility, some rooms even having no air conditioning, yet all rooms are charged at top dollar for Coolum. Please do your homework and look at other properties, unless you know the room you’re staying in and have inspected it. I am not hard to please, never complain. But this was very very disappointing. We booked 3 double apartments, for a wedding, so we visited all three. Room 20 was lovely, but the beds were very uncomfortable. Don’t book room 26. You will be so disappointed. All in all, stay somewhere else.

The reception staff, Tracy and Adele were absolutely outstanding. From time of booking in November they ‘went the extra mile’ to accommodate our requests. We wanted to stay longer and although we had to change apartments, they made this as easy as possible.
The position is superb, but be aware some apartments are much nicer than others. The ladies make sure you know this. So so helpful.

We stayed in a two bedroom apartment on the 8th floor, facing north. The view out over the water and up towards Noosa was amazing (lots of windows too!) and we had a nice level of shade/indirect sunlight on our balcony - great for sundowners and breakfast! The location makes it easy to swim at the beach in between the flags, go for a walk on the boardwalk, eat at the restaurants nearby. There is one underground car park included. The room was well equipped, the building has a games room, gym (little bit hard to access due to restricted hours and needing to get a key from reception), pool, BBQ. The location is a little bit noisy being on the corner of a very busy intersection, and the shape of the apartment, and size and functionality of the 2 bathrooms and laundry was OK for a week but wouldn't suit us for a long stay.

Just spent 4nights at Caprice, the location opposite the beach is without doubt amazing, views north & south along the coastline, allocated parking, cafes, restaurants, supermarket all in walking distance. So unless you wish to go for daytrips just park the car and relax.
So now about the hotel, starting to shows signs of ageing ( like all of us) each room has different furnishings but I think most have ocean views, our room #45 on 7th floor was a 1 bedroom, with a generous floorplan, BUT! it was in need of TLC a good coat of paint would work wonders, and the mattress WELL, I think the floor would give it a good run for its money,
But apart from those issues we found it is a great place to stay.

We have been staying here many times but this time it was terrible. Room 68 was very old and uncomfortable with old furniture and outdated kitchen. We turned the lounge air conditioner and received a room full of MOULD, on inspecting the filters found them full of old dust and cobwebs. We reported it to management so other guests will have a better stay. We definitely will not be going back..

We had a wonderful 3 night stay at Coolum Caprice in April 2021. We cannot thank all the staff enough for their excellent service. We truly appreciate the itemised car park spaces eg you park in the car space number you are given, great stuff. Our 1 bedroom holiday unit looked over the gorgeous ocean and we witnessed some beautiful sunrises. Resort is close to everything we needed. Surf Club across street and many eating places about. The massive $16 full breakfast from Sorrento's up the street is superb as was the nearby local pizza shop. We fully recommend Coolum Caprice for a break away. Well done everybody.

Amazing holiday. We watched the whale migration from the balcony, this was such a surprise for all of us. Coolum beach is across the road with the surf life saving flagged area within 50 M. There is a great play park and skate park very close as well. There is great restaurants close by for dinner or cooking facilities in the apartments. Awesome place for families to holiday.
