Villa 25, what a view across the waves. The sound of the waves crashing on the beach, even if we are not strictly beachfront is music to my ears, The 3 bdrm apartment is just fantastic, room wise. Having the upstairs area being the main living area makes for numerous trips up the internal stairs, it still so worth the view from the main lounge area. Kitchen dining and lounge open plan area so spacious, lots of room to have everyone up here comfortably. Air conditioning in this area too but by opening the glass balcony doors, there is a wonderful breeze that comes across to cool the whole room. A perfectly well equipped kitchen - everything you could possibly need to cook a feast( who wants to though when on a mini holiday). Full sized fridge/freezer is also handy. Toilet also located on this level.
Down on 2nd level is 3 bedrooms, the main having another great ocean (part) view. Air con and fans. Shower, toilet for bedrooms 1 and 2 and en-suite with spa tub and shower in bedroom 1. Down the next staircase into the lock up garage ;fits 2 cars snugly. Also washing machine and dryer down in garage. Parking can be a little tight, a few turns and some precision driving to get into your spot. Tried the heated pool but still a little cold and limited to only a few people (Thanks COVID19). A short walk down the hill, across the road and follow the many levels of steps down onto the beach.
We would definitely recommend this place, Very very comfortable , above average in every way.

Exceptional views and a lovely apartment layout for the family.

Probably relies a little bit too much on the views to cover the little shortcomings, and the extortion charged for “extras”. This apartment is at the premium end of the market and they don’t miss when charging a premium price. For the price I’d expect pool towels are free for guests, not $3 per towel. And a gas bbq for $60 is quite over the top, when it’s a bottom of the market K-mart Jumbuck brand. I’d also expect the room to be exceptionally maintained. Kitchen clock never worked. The cheap refrigerator doesn’t fit the area it sits in and doesn’t match the cost of the apartment. The louvred windows behind the kitchen simply don’t work. Brought that to the staffs attention who pretended not to know about it, but I have my doubts that’s the truth.

And being 2021, not 1981...a 3.35% charge to use American Express Cards is just highway robbery. You guys know it doesn’t cost that much to process an AMEX payment.

Friendly enough staff, but I wouldn’t return as an AMEX traveller when I’m not welcome with that kind of treatment. You can get as good or better anywhere on the Sunshine Coast with zero charge on using an Amex.

Thanks so much for your feedback, Luke. We're delighted that you liked your villa and enjoyed our fabulous coastal views. We're grateful for your constructive feedback on your experience of staying with us. While we like to be transparent and open about our various charges, we regret that the overall value proposition took a shine off what appears to have otherwise been a great visit to the Sunny Coast. Thanks for taking the time to help us to improve by sharing this feedback. We'd love (and hope!) to be able to welcome you back again one day soon.

We had a lovely overnight stay in our room with a view of the ocean. The apartment had everything we needed and could see that it would be ideal for a longer stay in the future. Parking suited our car, was able to park it in the garage which made easy access to apartment and to transfer luggage inside.
Reception staff were friendly and very accommodating. Helpful with local knowledge and dining out options available in the area.

Absolutely loved our stay at The Point. We stayed at a 1bed Villa on the hightop hill and it was very enjoyable. Beautiful interior/decor, very spacious(so much room!) and AMAZING VIEWS! The Ocean view was the best we have had! breakfast or coffee on the deck was a treat overlooking the water and hinterland.Felt so relaxed and peaceful. Bedding and lounge very comfortable with great pillows, kitchen and dining had plenty of space and everything you needed. Local cafes and restaurants short distance and the beach was just across the street from the accommodation and had easy access to the water and walking tracks. Location was everything, was so in love with our enjoyable stay that we have decided to come back every year, next time with the kids and family to enjoy as well. Can't wait to come back 🙂

The only downside was the carspace was tight we only just managed to have our Holden Commodore SS fit in, but grateful for the remote garage option. Bigger cars would need to park outside.

We have just returned from a week long family holiday at the Point Coolum. We were very impressed with the location, view, facility and price for the 3 bedroom apartment. The beds were very comfortable, walking distance (10-15 mins) to local shops and restaurant, only a few mins away by car. The Point truely live up to the photos, if not better.

The lady checked us in was very friendly and helpful. .... the only minor disapointment we had was when my husband went to ask for a few more body wash... he was told by another front desk staff that "it is free this time but we normally charge 20c each..." Not that we use body washes excessively, 4 little bottles for 4 adults surely can't last us for a whole week, not to mention that shampoo and body wash were included in the room price.

Apart from that, we are very happy with the place and will return or recommend friends with no hesitations.

Don’t ever book with these people. The talk the talk but don’t walk the walk. I booked a 3 bedroom executive villa for the Easter break with my family and got a 3 bedroom standard villa instead for the same price. (Number 28). When asked about this I was told there must have been miss communication. My booking specifically state a 3 bed exec and was told by Deb that it was only 20 stairs to one open plan living area. We ended up with 2 flights of stairs with bedrooms on one level and living area on another. This was a catastrophe as my wife had 2 knee replacements and was confined to one area most of the time.
In addition I booked and paid for a 2 burner BBQ and was given a one burner hotplate!! When I enquire about this they said they don’t know as this is what they have and I would be refunded. We are only hoping. To make up for this we were given a bottle of complimentary wine. Needless to say we could not use the BBQ at all and it was just taking up space on the balcony where there were a cheap set of plastic outside table and chairs. The main bedroom had 2 single beds push together to attempt to make a queen bed. Needless to say the bedding didn’t fit.
The place is VERY dirty. Dead bugs and dust on top of the fridge where we were suppose to find the WiFi password. This was located on the microwave as the top of the fridge was obviously to dirty to put something on. Both main bedroom and family toilet seats are loose. Lots of dirt under the beds show that the place is not maintained properly.
Would I recommend The Point Coolum Beach?
NO !!

Thanks so much for your feedback, NeelsH. We are so sorry that we did not meet your expectations during your stay. We regret that prior to your arrival a maintenance issue in the villa we originally discussed with you meant that we had to relocate you to an alternative villa at the last minute. We should have called to inform you and are sorry for not doing so. We were conscious of your many requests and so moved you to the section of the complex with the best views of the coastline, thinking this might improve your stay. However in doing so, we apologise for overlooking your request for a single level property and are sorry that the internal stairs affected the enjoyment of your stay. We do not have a 'standard' category of 3 bed villa, although based on your comments and your dissatisfaction with the type of property chosen we can understand why you may feel it was not the calibre of property you were expecting. We appreciate your comments and are sorry that we clearly missed the mark on thsi occasion. We hope that the other parts of your holiday we more memorable and that you otherwise enjoyed your visit to the Sunshine Coast.

This two bedroom villa was perfectly located beachside with all the facilities you could need including full kitchen and laundry. Beautifully laid out with stunning views, booking, check in and out were easy. Steep internal stairs and smaller cars preferred.

Hi Peneloper, thanks for taking time to review your stay. We are delighted you enjoyed your stay in the 2 bedroom villa and we agree the views are stunning! We appreciate your comments about stairs and parking. Whilst some villas have internal stairs, we also have some without stairs being all on one level with easy access. We have several sections with various car park sizes and additional parking is also on site. We look forward to welcoming you back in the future to The Point Coolum.

We stayed in an Executive Apartment at the Point for 7 nights and were happy with the accommodation. It was very spacious and the view was great, the property itself is well-maintained and overall quiet (no road noise) which was important for us.

The apartment was clean on our arrival, the only area that appeared to be overlooked was there were stains on the carpet in the main bedroom which I advised Reception on check-out.

The Reception staff was very friendly and helpful during our stay which we appreciated.

The car parking is very tight, and because of this we decided not to park in the garage provided as there is other parking available on site.

We would definitely stay again, the location is excellent, a short walk to the cafes and shops, and still close enough to Noosaville/Noosa Heads.

Called at the last minute for another visit to this resort. We were given apartment 44 which has recently received a full refurbishment.

What a great surprise! It is a beautiful one bedroom apartment on the upper level, closer to the street end of the resort. It smelled fresh and new. It has a lounge room combined with full kitchen and has a big comfy couch, tv, kitchen with dishwasher and all facilities for a long stay.

We loved the private balcony with its table and chairs. The bedroom has a comfortable queen bed. The bathroom is modern and functional, including a full laundry in the cupboard.

It was good to have bright eco lighting throughout.

We loved the apartment and will request it next time we visit. Highly recommended!!!

We are repeat guests to The Point as we love staying here!
This time, we stayed in villa 52 located in the Coral Sea Villas. This villa is very nicely furnished with comfortable recliners, fully equipped kitchen, great outdoor setting, lovely clean bathrooms & spacious bedroom with a very comfy bed. We love the balconies of these villas which are perfect for a sunny breakfast & catching a bit, but not too much, of the afternoon sun.
We spent a lot of time looking out over the sea spotting whales. The remotely controlled rolled out blind was much appreciated, as was the lockup garage for our car.
Reception staff here are very obliging & friendly. We will be back soon for another stay!
Thanks again from Craig & Danielle

Hi Kate Thanks for your enquiry. 3rd Bay opposite the resort can be accessed but it is quite rocky and not recommended as a swimming beach for kids. 1st and 2nd Bays are small sandy beaches about a 5 minute walk and whilst not patrolled are quite popular with surfers and families. The patrolled beach is a few minutes by car with ample parking nearby and a 10-15 minute walk along the coastal pathway which can be accessed across the road from the resort. Please give us a call if you would like any further information about the apartments or local area.

We're personally not big fans of smoking but we understand that some people are. While we don't encourage people to smoke on balconies, we do allow it. However we do ask that smokers are considerate of prevailing winds and consider other guests when choosing where they smoke.
