Highly recommend this property, very close location to the beach and eateries and one of the cleanest places I've stayed in. The layout of the unit worked very well and having individual bathrooms off each bedroom was a huge bonus. Tracey and Jason were very welcoming and friendly. The resort complex was very well maintained and a heated pool is always wonderful in the cooler months. Have already recommended this property to friends and family.

Such a peaceful and beautiful boutique resort to stay at. Tracey and Jason were so friendly and helpful. The kitchen had everything in it we needed and the laundry was great since we stayed 7 nights. The kids were always happy with either the pool, spa, tennis or basketball to play while we were enjoying time on the balcony watching them or hanging out in the pool with them. Highly recommend this resort for anyone who wants to chill out in a super functional and quiet resort. So close to the shops and beach too. Highly recommend.

We arrived here after a long drive and we were welcomed by Tracey. The apartment was beautiful and spacious.
We ended up having to stay an extra day due to a snap lockdown and it was great that Tracey was happy to organise another night & did it at a reasonable rate.
The pool & spa were so nice to be in and Jason was a delight and both he & Tracey made you feel very welcomed.
The beach was a short 5 minute walk and easy to get to, everything was just around the corner and easy to walk around the area.

Absolutely loved staying here! Kids had own bathroom, single garage makes packing the car for a different surf spot a breeze, upstairs balcony overlooking pool & 1/2 tennis court (with basketball hoop & we played a bit of cricket). Clean, plenty of room, had everything we needed, location was awesome, walk to everything at Coolum..Jason & Tracey were super helpful & friendly hosts. Will be back!!

The apartment was clean and spacious, there were laundry facilities in the garage, we had quite a big car and were able to park in the unit garage which was very welcome. The pool is clean and bbq area too. There’s a small tennis court and basketball net and the owners are really welcoming. You can even hire body boards too for $10.

A pleasant suite of Apartments just a 5 minute walk to the main shopping hub, our Accomodation was clean and spacious with a balcony with picturesque views. The Manager was very friendly and on arrival, gave us an upgrade to a 3 bedroom apt. However,on entry we found out that the 2 extra were locked. Disappointed as I had just explained how convenient it is to store cases in an extra room! Additionally, probably because of this, there was only 1 mirror in the whole apt..and that was in the bathroom.Difficult for a lady to get ready to go out! However, enjoyed our stay.

We had 3 nights in a 3 bedroom spacious apartment. The beds very comfy, everything was clean & the apartment was well equipped.
It was too cold to swim but the pool looked lovely and clean. Easy walking distance to Coolum Beach shops. We would definitely stay there again.

A fantastic find!! Great 3 bedroom apartment for our family which offered the teenager their own space and a fantastic functional kitchen. The pool/Spa/tennis court/ basketball provided simple and great entertainment for everyone. The location is perfect with beach/ shops/restaurants a short stroll away.

When we arrived, there was no one at reception. We called the number on our booking and also the number at the reception and there was no answer. We had to wait for about an hour before we could check-in.
While the owner seemed quite friendly, he seemed more interested in hanging out with some of the other guests that were there (probably regulars).
I guess the most disappointing thing was the room, for the price that we paid. It was a 3 bedroom apartment, but the living area was very small and not very comfortable. There was only one 2-seater couch and two 1-seaters, and they weren't exactly comfortable/relaxing.
The bathrooms/kitchen were actually not very clean when we got there. With dust/dirt in the corners and the tiled floor was sticky so I had to mop the floor. The toilet seats were broken and one of the major problems I had, was that the smoke/fire alarm had actually been disconnected. When we mentioned this to the owner, he said that the systems were currently being upgraded and did not really apologise. I think it was actually illegal for them to let us stay in a room without a smoke alarm.
The washing machine did not work very well as it got stuck all of the time in the middle of the cycle.
Another major issue we had was with the dvd rentals they offered. We went to borrow dvds and they were actually pirated/bootleg dvd copies. Ummm... I think that is illegal, not to mention terrible quality.
Also, although the booking said free broadband, it was only a 300MB limit.
As it was raining almost the whole time, there really wasn't a lot to do, so not really being able to relax in our room was kind of annoying. The spa is an outdoor spa and has been modified so that it is actually quite unpleasant when you turned the bubbles on. Although the pool said heated, it was actually quite cold, especially considering the weather. There was also only 1 bbq area, so if that was taken, you were confined to your room or a very long walk or drive to a park with those facilities. The balcony was very tiny and did not have any shelter. The other problem with the bbq/pool area was that the owner was often there smoking. This was very unpleasant for those of us trying to enjoy the pool.
It's actually quite a distance to get to the swimming area on the beach, and just to get to the beach, you do have to walk across a busy road and then through the bush.
Anyway, I guess our holiday was affected by the rain, but it was made even worse by disappointing accommodation. We didn't really feel disappointed when we had to leave a day early. It was kind of nice to go home.

We were disappointed to read your comments, as this is our first negative review in 2½ years of being the Management Rights Managers at Coolum Beach Getaway Resort. We pride ourselves in providing clean units and friendly service to our guests. We have a high percentage of return guests, who we do make a point of spending time with, and the feedback we have received to date has been overwhelmingly positive. Check in time is from 2:00pm unless prior arrangement for an early check in has been requested and confirmed. As there is not any record of the complaints you have made being mentioned during your stay or when checking out, it is impossible to address this review satisfactorily. It is unfortunate that the weather this summer has seen excessive rain, making it difficult for guests to enjoy the beautiful areas Coolum Beach and the Sunshine Coast offer. However, we would be happy for you to contact us to discuss your review more personally.
