We were travelling in December 2013, and this was our first jungle resort vacation. Ken River Lodge was just the perfect place to stay, the room was clean, the food very home-type and the staff very friendly. The naturalist with the hotel came with us on the safari and it was a wonderful experience. We have ever since loved going...

We went to Ken River Lodge as the second stop on a trip to visit five Indian parks. Ken River Lodge was certainly the most rustic. Did not enjoy the geckos who were sharing the bathroom with us. The langurs will jump on your roof and in the morning the guides can show you the jungle cat tracks. The internet...

This place is not luxurious but if you want to stay in the middle of the forest by a river and sing around a campfire, this is the place for you. The lodges are huge and with a little tender care, would be beautiful but the place is neglected. Monkeys sit on the roof and were known to shoulder barge...

We went there for a meal and we found it highly overpriced. The location is good but needs better maintenance and perhaps better service as well.I personally didn't like the decor, things like deer horns, snake skin etc and the old 19th century "naturalist" posters etc I feel are in poor taste!

THE PROPERTY: Rustic, comfortable cottages set in a beautiful forest and on the banks of the bird-rich Ken River. This is where you come if you need nature and peace, with a wonderful family-run property. Safaris into Panna Tiger Reserve have become more popular over the years as the tiger population increases, but this resort offers some of the best...

A great tree house, hosts the meals for us that are prepared with great skill and tastes. Amazing amount and variety of food that will keep you wanting more. The staff is very sweet, warm and friendly. They...

We were here as a part of Tiger Trails package with stays at their lodges at Panna, Kanha and Bandavgarh. We had planned this for our honeymoon and we had an amazing time. The rooms were simply awesome - spacious, hygienic with great decor! The food was even better - it was amazing to see how true they were to...

Revisited Ken River Lodge in Dec 2016, after my first visit in Dec 2012. The place is still amazing and the ambience is as good as ever. Still isolated, with all the peace and quiet of the world. River views from the restaurant are very good. Service and food will leave you very satisfied; and you have a chance of...

The staff was very solicitous the food was simple, tasty and could be tailored to taste and overall s good experience. The lodge and huts were simple, perhaps reflecting its remote location, but badly in need of refreshing. A fair summary would be simple yet adequate. The staff goes a long way to compensate.
