What a great place to stay, well worth the money, Lea is wonderful can't do enough for you, it's newly renovated, quiet and handy to everything, Tennant Creek is actually a nice little town worth stopping and checking it out ... Devils Marbles is amazing, the art museums are lovely, the telegraph station is worth a visit and Mary Anne Dam is beautiful .. I was a bit nervous about staying here for 2 nights but we've had no trouble, i actually felt more comfortable and safer here in Tennant Creek than I did in Alice Springs
Having lived in Tennant Creek some years ago and knowing full well it’s reputation, I booked in to stay here with my son en route from Darwin to Tasmania. Lots of previous knowledge coupled with some research led me to booking in at Safari Lodge and boy was I impressed. I stayed in a twin room with my son Pros: - Beautiful clean rooms. So tastefully renovated. There was even a microwave which was appreciated as we didn’t want to go out after a long day driving. - Beds were comfortable and sleep quality was fantastic. - The complex is fully gated. It provided great peace of mind. We were given a remote for the gate if we needed to go out after hours. - Staff were friendly and welcoming, nothing was too much trouble. - Well located off the Main Street and easy to find. Cons: - The rooms weren’t overly soundproof, we could almost hear what the people next door were talking about. - Parking is a little tight. If it were fully booked it would be a struggle to manoeuvre. Tennant Creek is an expensive place to stay but in the grand scheme this was 100% worth the money. It is comparable to other places in town, but you get much better value here. It didn’t even feel like we were in Tennant Creek. Thank you for a lovely, peaceful stay. Highly recommended.…
This place is beautiful fantastically designed rooms, nice kitchenette, spacious room with the most beautiful designed carved bed head. I totally loved the security of the secure parking, best sleep in a quiet room.
We were booked into somewhere else but it was substandard and thankfully we were able to get a room at Safari Lodge. The rooms had been recently renovated and they were so nice. I loved the complimentary toiletries which included native ingredients. The plush bath sheets and large shower were luxurious. Michelle went above and beyond the accommodate our bookings (we made sure we stayed there again in the trip home). The security parking was very reassuring. Do yourself a favour and make sure you stay at Safari Lodge.
Well done on refurbished rooms. Really comfortable and stylish. An unexpected gem in Tennant Creek. No twin rooms yet but that is coming shortly. Recommended. An extra bonus is gates locked so cars are safe and blackout blinds.
