Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Service was excellent when we arrived. Facilities was perfect and the camp kitchen was clean and big. We stayed in the new cabins. Place is clean and tidy. Will stay here again.. No fuel but That’s ok close enough to refuel at the roadhouses. Has some history to show

Must say this was nothing but a disappointment after reading reviews. The bar has been closed for sometime I believe through new owners. No entertainment or campfires. Stacked in together in the power section very limited shade. Amenities could do with a spruce up but clean enough. Noisy location right on a bend on the Stuart Hy. Ok for a one night stopover if you have to.

We were recommended to stay here from family who had stayed at the caravan park previously. We booked a cabin for two adults and one 2 year old. The cabins are small, but I could see this on the website when booking, so we were expecting that. The park itself is a beautiful spot - the manager told us the view from the top of the hill is beautiful at sunset. We weren't disappointed, and we met several other friendly travellers who were also enjoying the view. We couldn't get phone reception here, which meant that we had a very peaceful stay and we enjoyed it. Only a couple of things I would want to be aware of... there is nowhere to buy dinner or any kind of food or drinks here, so ensure you come prepared. I booked our cabin online and when we arrived, was told there was no booking for this date. Due to having no service, I couldn't show them the email confirmation, but luckily they had a vacancy for us. Upon checking the email later, we had booked and paid for the correct date - so if staying again, I would print the confirmation just in case. The last thing I would mention is that there are no doors to the bathrooms in the cabins, which some travellers may find uncomfortable and lacking privacy. Overall it was a fun place to stay and we would stay again, just be better prepared. Our son loved the donkeys in the neighbouring paddock and the views were amazing.

Don’t be fooled - what appears on the booking site as a double bed cabin is a very small converted shipping container. It contains one king single bed, as it is described on the website. One of us slept on our camping mattress on the floor. The tiny food preparation area sits next to the toilet with no door between them.

Great place for overnight stay in the caravan. Powered and unpowered sites with clean toilets and showers. Beautiful night sky and a worthwhile walk to the waterhole. Just make sure you cross the two stony creek beds as the waterhole which was full of water is past these.

The managers were very nice. 1 night for 3 people $35 so that was ok. Sunset was beautiful. Park very neglected. We had to clean the camp kitchen so we were able to use it, it was pretty disgusting. Same with the showers. The park has potential but really needs someone who cares, a lot.

wife and myself stopped here on our travels, it was just out of the blue to find this place. The husband and wife managers were so friendly and welcoming, luckily we arrived the night they had an aboriginal cultural experience, they had a great man singing country and western and a bar with cold beer ha! Plus a great fire and the best damper we have ever had everything. We felt welcomed and a part of the station and this is what we had been looking for since leaving Melbourne. Would like to say thank you for having us and really appreciate Would highly recommend a stay.

Fantastic park. Powered and unpowered sites. Friendly hosts. Campfire chats at happy hour. Amazing Cultural experience on my second night. Live music. With no TV, Radio, Internet or phone service it’s the perfect place to detox from technology.
