Welcome to Pine Tree Motel! We are located in the heart of Katherine NT, just 5 minutes’ walk from the shops; including Woolworths, Target, and a number of other specialty stores and food outlets. Pine Tree Motel offers comfortable, clean and hassle-free rooms for all budgets, with a retro design and room decor that will have you feeling right at home. All of our rooms are fully air conditioned, contain a fridge and also tea and coffee facilities. We cater for short and long stays, with no minimum night’s stay. We also offer tours to nearby attractions. Here at the Motel we offer a pool and BBQ area, conference facilities, laundry services and secure overnight parking with locked gates from 10pm. Pine Tree Motel is also home to one of the town’s only breakfast buffets for just $15 and our guests are always raving about the spread and service our chefs deliver. All of our staff look forward to meeting you and creating lasting memories here at the Pine Tree Motel and in Katherine!

Back in January 2023 I reserved two nights at this motel for early October of 2023. Just now, on the eve of my flight to start this trip to the western Pacific (I'm already checked in for the flight) I get an email that this motel has canceled me. No further story. Had to scramble and book something else.

If you ever visit Katherine, the Twin Pines Motel is the place to stay. Wonderful, friendly staff, secure (free) parking, clean, comfortable, quiet dark rooms, (conducive to a wonderful night's sleep), and a delicious full breakfast the next morning to get you on your way - fabulous! From the moment we checked in, it felt more like we were visiting friends than staying at a motel. The property is gated, so feels very secure, and once checked in, you don't need to leave the property if you don't want to. Guests can self cater their evening meal using the free poolside barbeque, or take advantage of the property's poolside dinner and drinks option - we did the "poolside dinner and drinks" which consisted of a delicious pizza and a choice of drinks. It's also nice sitting around the pool chatting to other travellers and getting tips on where to go and what to see in the area. We will definitely stay at the Twin Pines Motel when we visit the NT again. …

Has everything you need! Top picks - great pool area with fully contained BBQ area with sink and large TV. Great priced buffet breakfast if not included with room. Bonus being able to have your own food and drink in pool area and if you’re lucky like we were - Pool bar offering for sale, margaritas and pizzas!!! Chris and his team catered to all our requests and more!!!

Great location a few blocks off the main strip, so quiet. Nice pool with poolside bar- perfect for after a day of exploring! Gated parking lot, so I felt very safe. The owner/manager, Chris, is super friendly and helpful. A great respite during my recent Australia road trip.

Pine Tree Motel is a very busy and popular motel, and we had a very comfortable stay. The buffet breakfast has a lot of variety and there is plenty of food. It was very handy having a laundry and clothesline. Oh, and particularly enjoyed the sarcasm of the owner Chris :-)

A great, tidy and secure place with super friendly and welcoming staff. Good value, and a nice clean pool and outdoor kitchen area. We had breakfast included, a great selection of hot and cold choices.

Would highly recommend staying at Pine Tree Motel. All the staff are very friendly and extremely helpful. Our room was very comfortable and the po area was a great place to relax and unwind. Breakfast was the best.

Wonderful value for money! Great size room comfy beds, great hot water, clean, parking in secure gated area and right in the centre of town. Laundry facilities available at a reasonable rate! Kids loved the pool and we loved drinking the margaritas!
