easy check in, self contained chalets with 2 bedrooms, bath and family kitchen and balcony. We woke up to kangaroos out near the balcony. 10 mins walk to the gorge, 5 mins to the visitor centre. Great value for money

We rented a chalet (2 bedroom locked off to be a 1 bedroom). We had been travelling in NT for sometime and normally cooked our own meals. For us, the cabin was private, easily accessible and within walking distance of the Gorge. Check out the recent review "Cooking Up Kermit" for an excellent review of the camping park and surrounds....

Many thanks for your review of the Chalets and the campground. The chalets are an excellent option when travelling through the Katherine region and certainly do provide access to the beauty of the National Park!

NITMILUK MAY BE RUN BY LOCAL INDIGENOUS PEOPLE, BUT I DON’T THINK BROILED FROG IS TRADITIONAL BUSH TUCKER This is a pretty nice campground – not small, plenty of powered/unpowered sites (although advice is book ahead in high season), reasonable shade and grass, 2 camp kitchens , gorgeous pool area, adequate amenities block and upmarket options to camping. LOCATION: campground...

Many thanks for your incredible review of Nitmiluk! You covered off the lot - with some great advice for travellers - and for our team on the ground! Sorry to hear about Kermit but our National Park location is open for all! Glad you enjoyed your time with us and hope to see you again soon!

We turned up and the staff in the info centre were so helpful with what to do around here etc, however when we turned up all eating places were closed and so that was fine as we went to the supermarket to get some steak to put on the gas BBQ, went to use the BBQ, that was all locked...

Many thanks for your review of the Nitmiluk Campground and apologies if the experience was not up to your expectations. However I would like to clarify a few points. Our BBQ’s are not locked, they simply operate on a button press start up. The door to access the gas bottle is locked, however guests do not need to access this...

We've been traveling and camping in a van and this is the worst value Camping ground that we've struck. It was expensive in comparison to other sites and offered nothing much for it. There's a pool but you have to put up with the doof doof music from the vendor there and at night when you might enjoy the stars...

Many thanks for your review of Nitmiluk Campground and I apologise if the experience was not up to your expectations. However there are a few points I would like to clarify. The campground is located just 5 minutes walk to the Visitors Centre from which point all touring up through Nitmiluk Gorge commences. For safety reasons this last season, swimming...

Beautiful bush what smelt wonderfully of melaleuca argentea, the Silver leaved Paperbark. It was a magical place. The gorges magnificent, even though we got drenched in an early, wet season downpour. Unfortunately we couldn't swim because they couldn't be sure if the salt-water Crocs had come upriver...nice to know that they keep an eye on these things! The indigenous history...

My partner and I stayed at this place for 3 nights from 13th October 2016 and were pleasantly surprised by the lovely environment as well as the well equipped chalets, enjoying the wildlife and natural environment. Following several challenging eating experiences at Jabiru, we were not very hopeful when we noticed the little 'Bistro' in the pool area. Following a...

We stayed in a chalet for 2 nights which was our treat for the trip as it is quite expensive. The chalet I could not fault, it was immaculately clean and well looked after. We used a BBQ outside which was really great. The pool area is brilliant. We had dinner at the restaurant next to the pool one night,...

I was worried about staying here at the campground and had booked the little chalets which I presumed would be old and tired but wow I couldn't have been more surprised. They we SUPER clean and this is always most important to us. They were well equipped and a perfect spot for visiting the gorge. Should've booked a couple of...
