My partner and I only planned on passing through Katherine during our road trip until our van broke down. The owners were kind enough to take us in last minute & late at night and were overall very helpful and understanding of our situation over the 2 days we were stranded. We ended up having a great time at this holiday park. Toilets and showers were always very clean, great camp kitchen/relax area, nice pool area and the hotsprings within walking distance at the door step of the park. Recommended to anyone passing through Katherine looking for a great place to stay!

We stayed four nights in this establishment, which advertises itself as the "shadiest caravan park in Katherine". Well shady it may be and indeed it is. But it comes at a risk. And on our fourth night we were suddenly shaken awake when the whole of the tired old cabin was shaken at 1am. It must have seemed comical if there had been a video recording when I leaped out of bed and banged the door to frighten away an intruder. Upon inspection it was a huge limb from the South African mahogany tree dropped onto our cabin, narrowly missing our car. Stay at own risk. We called the manager on the emergency number and they had instituted a tree surgeon and were awaiting their report. A nice pool and a quiet park, with lots the.of shade!

We stayed for one night in a self contained unit in the caravan park. Clean and spacious with kitchenette, en suite etc. Close to the hot springs at the rear. Friendly service and reasonable cost. Would stay again..

This place is a joke. They will not let you in before 11am, even though other caravans leave at 10am. It's not as if they have to clean the sites just the old decrepit cabins. The amenities are absolutely appalling, old and dirty, the block we are near has three washing machines and one dryer, only one washing machine works and the dryer works but no heat comes out. I was told by another lady that only one washing machine was working in the other amenities as well. The gate leading to the hot springs, which is near our site and the horrible amenities is open from 7am to 7pm, people who are day trippers to the spring come in and use the facilities. When we were here in 2018 there was a key code on the gate so only the park users could go through the gate, the owners would lead you to your site and help you in. If you want to exchange your books there is a $2 surcharge. There was no gas for hot water heating, the sign was on the mirror above the vanity, instead of on the shower doors. The BBQ in the so called camp kitchen is out of order. The locks in the men's toilets were broken. Everything needed to be hosed down and washed. The road leading in and out of the park had big pot holes which should of been repaired. The park is in a good location but needs some serious maintenance done

Really nice and quiet park. Great location, loved walking straight out the back of the property to the gorgeous hot springs (only a 5-10 minute walk) and a little way out of the town centre so no parking or noise issues. Friendly service at reception both for check-in and check-out (Dee is lovely). We had a standard ensuite cabin which was comfortable but dated, definitely needs a bit of maintenance (wooden door frames rotting, holes in walls, dirty curtains to name a couple of things). The double bed was surprisingly comfortable and the cabin was spacious enough for the two of us. It was lovely and cool when we arrived as someone had had the foresight to put the air conditioning on for us which was greatly appreciated. Handy kitchen and cooking facilities in the cabin including a full fridge. Cabins seem to be well soundproofed as we were situated right near the communal BBQ area but didn't hear anything even though there were several people about and the people in the cabin next to us were outside drinking until fairly late. The price was reasonable, I guess, for this time of year (top end dry season even though it was still stinking hot) but wouldn't be thrilled about paying that price again outside of peak season. We were happy with the service and accommodation and would stay again.

Located a couple of km down the Victoria Highway, the park offers large, shady sights that are partially grassed. There is good mobile reception. But the wifi is a little sketchy. Amenities are older and unappealing: water pressure was not great and hot water a bit hit and miss. Park is Member of G’Day Mates so discount apples to members: this makes full rates a bit high for the quality provided. We had a road front site which meant we were somewhat exposed to noise but there was plenty of space and privacy. Cyclone fence for security did not feel all that secure.

After reading some of the reviews I was concerned about this carvan park. We received a text from the owner advising that as we would be arriving after the office had closed they would leave our information in the locked box. Found required information. The park is clean and tidy. The toilet block and camp kitchen are clean and well maintained. The pool was lovely and had loungers to sit on. There is a gate to the springs at the back of the property. The park seems to be favoured by grey nomads and is quiet. We stayed over the Easter weekend and the management hosted happy hour and sausage sizzle for all the guests.

We spent a very aggrieved night here and were treated with disrespect afterwards: The temperature on October 5th was as high as 40 degrees. Six of us booked two rooms because we know that only five people are allowed to stay in a room legally. The front desk gave us two rooms No. 18 and No. 19. When we opened room 18, we found that the room was super hot, but the air conditioner was already on. The room temperature is still hot after 20 minutes. The temperature in Room 19 is already very cool. So we went to the front desk to ask for help. The front desk called an engineer to check, and finally said that the air conditioner was broken and couldn't live. The front desk said that 6 of us can sleep in Room 19 and promised to refund the full amount of $140 for our one-night stay on the 18th. An hour later we locked the room and returned the key to the front desk. We did not mess up the contents of room 18. Compared with Room 19, the air conditioners, refrigerators, and TV sets in Room 18 are all very old. Obviously, the hotel hasn't replaced them with new ones or performed maintenance work. When we checked out the next day, we asked the front desk to write down the confirmation of the refund, but she didn't write it down and told us to rest assured that we would refund the money within 7-14 days. Two weeks have passed and I have not received a refund. I called and the manager who answered the phone said she didn't know about this! I wrote to him again, and the next day she said that she could only refund $50, which was on behalf of the front desk, and the other $90 was because the landlord on the 18th refused to refund. She also said that they are controlled by the landlord of each room. Also slandered me saying that we violated the law and shouldn't have 6 people in a room! We are very angry about this treatment: 1) Because we are 6 people, I booked two rooms. Due to your mistake, we cannot move in. And your front desk violated the law and forced us into one room. It is you who violated the law first, and we reserve the right to prosecute. 2) As tourists, we only know that your front desk represents your hotel. If the person who handles it is gone, can those who come later do not need to follow up? If I don’t call to ask about this, will you be okay? 3) We don't know if the front desk is manipulated by the owners, but the guests face the hotel directly instead of the owners. I hope you and the owner of Room 18 face the facts correctly and actively solve the problem. Although only stayed for one night, the hotel's attitude towards guests and the ability to deal with accidents is very poor. There are many hotels to choose from, there is no need to choose their hotel, and walking from the hot spring is also very hard. If you really choose this hotel, please do not stay in room 18.

Stayed at this Caravan park twice for a night each whilst going to Darwin and coming back. The staff is very helpful and lovely. The first night we ended up reaching the park late at night and the reception was closed. We stayed the night and visited the reception first thing in the morning. They were understanding of the situation given that there's very less good caravan parks in Katherine.
