Spend 2 days at resort with my family. Enjoyed yellow water cruises in the morning and got a good rate from hotel. Resort has nice and large swim pool which was amazing after a hot day. As its vv remote choices for meals are limited, ready with your bbq set and won't be a prob at all. Overall nice resort...

Went to Cooinda Lodge in early April and again May long weekend was greated by a friendly assist manager who was working on the counter at the time we arrived, she gave good advice of places to visit as a fair few of the places were still closed. The counter can be under staffed at times as the one counter...

We camped here 2 nights. Great camping facilities kept spotlessly clean. We used as a base for two days and enjoyed cooling off in the lovely pool after our walks and climbs to spectacular billabongs and lookouts plus wonderful rock art sites. What a special place is Kakadu. Beer on tap was nice and cold and food ( a breakfast...

I booked this online as we wanted to be nearby the departure point for the Yellow Waters Cruise and this suited us best. Expensive for a campsite - $40 for 2 for a powered site. As I booked online we were unable to access the unpowered section of the park as this was not open when I booked due to...

Hello Tansley88, We are pleased that you enjoyed the camping facilities while staying in Kakadu, you are correct with the unpowered sites as these are not available to be pre-booked either on-line or directly through the hotel. We only take pre-bookings for powered sites. The location as you mentioned for the cruises is optimal as it is a 30 second...

Making the trek all the way out to Kakadu is totally worth it in terms of seeing crocodiles, gorgeous Australian land and birdlife. Just set your expectations ahead of time that there's nothing exciting about the accommodation at Cooinda Lodge, which is supposed to be one of the more upscale options available. We had a concrete block room with an...

We stayed at the campground. The facilities are amazing, especially the pool which the kids almost lived in. We dined at the Bistro, a bit pricey but nonetheless the food and ambiance was great. We did not try any other accommodation. As a campground we would recommend this resort with no hesitation.

Stayed two nights with my wife and adult daughter, somewhat rustic and indoor restaurant closed. Insects were very noticeable, my daughter very sensitive to mosquitoes so we did take away to the room. Good location for Yellow Water Cruise which was great for wildlife.
