Whilst a great concept with its design, it misses the mark completely. Hygiene and cleanliness has been overlooked. It was dirty. In my room the bathroom the tiles were yellowing, the tiles had layers of filth and there was so much build up in the sink. The shower curtain was so dirty the sight of it made me ill. The...

This is an iconic outback hotel and supposed to something special but it really is very dated, very worn out, and needs much more than a lick of paint. Once you get past the reception desk the decay will meet you. The exterior is very dirty and the stairs to the second level near the restaurant are badly broken. The...

Stayed for 1 night during a tour of Kakadu. The unique design of the hotel (in a shape of a crocodile) is a great idea, however the hotel is a bit run down. Food in the resturant was good and staff were attentive. Would only stop here if on the tour.

The trainee at the front desk was the only one that was really accommodating. The computer system crashed and they couldn't check us in. Several of us sat around the pool waiting but got no updates and all had been given conflicting information. Finally got in the room which was below average for the price. The bedding was not what...

We stayed 3 nights in a Courtyard Family room. It's a good place to base yourself for Kakadu. The rooms are a bit tired & need an upgrade, but overall we found it nice. Staff were very helpful & friendly.

We have stayed four nights in this hotel. The room was very clean, good bed, with a little seating area outside and very close to the swimming pool. We absolutely loved it, the staff was very friendly, gave us great suggestions where to go and what to see. The pool is gorgeous, just a right temperature. The breakfast was nice...

Hotel is a bit outdated and needs a bit of attention, old bathroom and shower. No bottle water and only one small milk in fridge. No upgrade offered for honeymoon. Staff advised a tour that was a total rip off 1 hr cultural cruise $150 later. Dinner was very average and poor selection, we were disappointed with the expensive desert...

I can forgive a hotel getting worn out especially in the middle of nowhere like Kakadu but I cannot forgive it being unclean! The bedroom smelt of damp mould, the bed sheets were old and damp, the room had cobwebs, the curtains & ceiling had damp mould and the bathroom was grubby. The bath had clearly not been cleaned for...

Without doubt, the potential for a great venue is there.... However, a lot of work by the management team is needed! The concept of a crocodile shaped hotel is awesome and kind of works. But it takes more than an architectural design to make a hotel enjoyable. The overall hotel feels like a concrete prison block under a grim green...

Given the limited range of accomodation available in Jabiru, if you want a regular hotel rather than a cabin or camping type place, this is pretty much your only option. Having said that, beside a fairly high price, everything else was great. The person on reception was absolutely lovely and friendly and the people in the restaurant the same. The...
