Our wedding was gorgeous. It was a perfect resort for us and 18 guests. Had a lot of food options. Spa was great but being your own makeup and nail polish if you have specific colors. Swim up bar was a blast!

Beautiful hotel with excellent food and facilities suitable for families, couples and disabled people. The hotel only has 5 floors with lifts to all floors and most rooms have a sea view or partial sea view. Do not be to hasty to book trips as there is local wildlife just along the beach. We did take the one day trip...

I had read so many reviews of this resort. We stayed in a 1st floor room with 2 beds, a bathroom, closet, safe, fridge, bar and deck. I can tell you I really appreciated the bottled water in our room fridge, I never drink tap water. There was also soda, beer and liquor, all complimentary. There were no face clothes,...

I loved the atmosphere of this place, especially at night. I found the pool a little crowded and too sheltered with the trees so we spent more the time on the beach which was beautiful. We spent New Years here which was definitely the best New Years I've ever had, we had a beach party with the other Riu which...

My boyfriends parents gave us this vacation for our Birthday / Christmas gift, we stayed at Riu Guanacaste resort, it was an amazing vacation. We enjoyed relaxing on the beach, going for walks along and feeding the monkeys, lizards and of course the sweet black cat that lives on our resort. We got engaged on our vacation there ,listening to...

I loved this hotel. The gardens were very impressive, the room clean and to a good standard. The balcony was a much bigger size than at the riu we stayed in in Jamaica. The beach is very natural and full of wildlife. Spent most of our time here. A short walk down the beach is the monkey bar which we...

3 couples, all family, various ages. We all found fantastic elements at this resort. Good food, lots of space to walk, fun poolside activities. Lots of pool swimming space. I highly recommend this resort.

We loved this vacation!! We travelled to this RIU in October. The weather was gorgeous (sunny and hot) and the grounds are stunning. The resort is very well cared for, the staff are helpful and courteous. Some of the staff didn't speak English but they were always courteous and would grab other staff members to help. Rooms: Our room was...

Every Riu that I visit is always a nice experience. This is the first time that I visited a regular Riu resort vs. The Riu Palace and there are a number of differences, but you get what you pay for! The resort was clean, well taken care of. Staff were friendly and courteous. Shows were good, cute and always fun....

Not first time at a RIU property, but first at this one. Resort was beautiful and spotless, as at all the RIU properties we have stayed at. Place was full (1/5-1/11), but accommodations were not compromised at the resort. Not a long wait for the specialty restaurants if you got there early enough, and the buffet was always available and...
