I've read a lot of reviews here about how dated this place is, but if you pay $95 for a clean room with 2 comfortable beds and a cooked breakfast for 2 that would stuff a horse then this motel is perfect for an inexpensive night in Hastings. Yes it is dated and a little worn around the edges but...

I spent one night at this hotel. The hotel itself is very tired and dated, think 70's orange bathroom counter tops! The room itself was comfortable though. The hotel offered free WiFi, you just had to ask for it. I had a room that looked out towards the car park. I found this room quite handy as I could park...

If you want to be awaken at 6am in the morning by a large herd of seasonal workers banging their way down the stairs just above your head while listening to extremely loud music - then book this place. Now here is the most unbelievable part - when I rang reception I was told that they could not do anything...

Stayed here for 1 night. Was horrified at stains on my bedding and a cockroach which appeared from under my covers. There were two beds each with an electric blanket, but only one plug? Free WIFI available (provided your room is close to reception - ours was not). There was only enough hot water to run ONE bath. Sorry to...

We stayed at Angus Inn for a night. As soon as we put our bags in the room, a small cockroach walked across the floor, I went to tell the receptionist and asked for flyspray. Another cockroach ran across my bare foot when we returned to our room later that evening. The interior had remained unchanged from 20 years ago...

We stayed here over a weekend. The rooms are very out dated but were clean and tidy and cleaned daily. All the staff were very friendly. There are seasonal workers there who kept to themselves and weren't very noisy. Looks like they have been asked to remove shoes from outside the doors as mentioned in other reviews. None were seen....

Intended to stay for 2 nights. Left after 1. In my 20 smth years on planet earth the first time i saw something like that. When we arrived our room was literally surrounded by shoes and socks outside. Tho we felt cornered we laughed it off. Too premature. We were waken up at 6 am on A SATURDAY by screams...

Very we'll priced motel staff are friendly and rooms are clean and tidy . Little bit out of city centre however for the price very good value for Money . Not the most modern motel but good size rooms and clean. Every thing you need is there and when away working only need a comfy bed and it has that

We went to the Angus with a couple of friends who had a poolside room, and my wife and I had a racecourse side room. Our room was initially a bit dreary - needed a bit of doing up on the inside to make it come to life again. The bed was a bit old and saggy - to the...

Booked for 5 nights and only stayed 1 night. The room was pretty dusty, I haven't suffered allergies for years and within a few minutes I was sneezing. The fan sounded like it was about to fall off the roof, there was no cold water, the bed was also really old and had done its dash. The room was tired...
