Chris and Michael were most charming hosts, and every attention to detail is what makes this superb setting absolutely delightful for a traveller. The accommodation is immaculate, and all three suites have a charming view over the pond. Teal ducks will greet you in the early morn, if you are fortunate. Nothing is too much trouble here and guests are...

We spent two nights at the Homestead. We were very warmly greeted by Michael and met up with Chris the following morning. Both are incredible hosts and do all they can to put you at ease. The breakfast basket has been mentioned by many. It is far more than adequate. Everything is so fresh and of the highest standard. Freshly...

This beautiful property really did it for me; fruit trees, native birds, and lovely grounds (and so many stars at night). Chris and Michael are excellent hosts, with amazing food and an extensive selection of wine (and very knowledgeable). The place is cosy and comfortable inside, and open and tranquil outside. Will certainly return.

For not the first time, I have had the most relaxing and rejuvenating time at this resful oasis. From the moment you turn into the tree-lined driveway where a welcome of birdsong fills the air, you know you are in a true hideaway. Scent from the garden, aromas from the kitchen - this place is pure pleasure. Nothing is a...

Thanks Desmond. Silence and peace are very much what we love to share with guests. The recipe for our muesli that you so loved was created for us by Bridget Graham QSM, who allows us to share the secret in return for a donation to her charity the Carlson School for those with Cerebral Palsy. We arrived after a busy week to a quiet and beautiful home. It makes you feel far away from the busy city. Michael greeted us warmly and let us know what the plans were for the evening. Our room was beautiful and overlooked the pond. The bed was comfortable and we especially enjoyed the music selection. Each morning, we received...

We booked this accommodation as a result of recommendations on Trip Advisor and endorse most of what is said by previous reviewers. Chris and Michael are very hospitable perhaps a bit jaded, Tosca the crippled cat is simply a delight and the grounds and views are beautiful – even in the rain. However to provide a bit of balance I...

We spent 3 nights here as part of our honeymoon and were really impressed by all aspects of the homestead. The owners Chris and Michael go out of their way to provide a welcoming, comfortable home from home with fresh coffee and cookies as soon as we arrived. We stayed in the 'Retreat' room which is an enormous room furnished...

My sister and I enjoyed four marvellous days at the Homestead. Luxurious rooms in an idyllic setting, a beautiful house tastefully decorated, and excellent meals. Clive's attention to detail and genuine concern for our wellbeing were outstanding.
