Vaak_Sin, it was lovely having both you and your wife with us. Thank you for posting this lovely review. Sorry that we did not know that you were both vegetarians otherwise we would have had more suitable eats for the two of you, next time. Our guest reviews are so important to us, so thanks once again.

Bellrock Lodge was wonderful. Lorraine and Peter could not have been more gracious. During our first evening, we were welcomed with a reception of tasty NZ oysters, smoked salmon, wonderful wine, and fun conversations. This lovely event happened again on our last evening, but this time Lorraine prepared grilled mussels. They could not have been kinder. Our room was lovely...

A wonderful 3 days, the drinks and nibbles in the evening were a bonus but the oysters were even better. Lovely, comfortable room, spacious and well fitted out. Stunning views. Short walk into town, beaches and the ferry.

We stayed at Bellrock Lodge on the last leg of our trip to NZ and were overwhelmed by the gorgeous accommodation and generous hospitality of Peter and Lorraine. Spectacular views of the Bay of Islands from our extremely comfortable rooms...made it difficult to decide whether to stay in or head out!! I think that New Zealand has some of the best B&B's in the world, and Bellrock Lodge is a perfect example. The room was immaculate and comfortable, the view over the water was terrific, and the hospitality was outstanding. I'd love to return in warmer weather so that we could breakfast on our private patio looking out at the sea....

We spent two nights in two rooms of the Bellrock Lodge. Lucky for us, the early spring weather was terrific, and we enjoyed great views from its hillside location. The rooms were excellent - comfortable, spacious, well-designed. I would emphasize well-designed. We appreciated the opportunity to do self-laundry (free for guests). We would definitely stay here again. Our host Peter...

This place really does deserve its TA ratings. It is exceptionally good. The accommodation is spacious, attractively furnished and decorated, spotlessly clean, superbly maintained and kitted out with considerable attention to every detail. The views from the balcony are truly spectacular, and better than the views from most of the other B&Bs in Russell because of its elevated position. The...

The rooms, our hosts , position of Bellrock Lodge and Russell itself was all we could have asked for and more. Top accomodation with balcony and views over the harbour. Peter and Lorraine were extremely welcoming and at the same time , respected our privacy.
