We were immediately welcomed by Robyn and Kees who made us feel more like old friends than "customers". Every little detail has been pre thought and there is much love in the breakfasts! Wow. For me it was Gluten free heaven- no fuss- it all just happened. Choices abounded!! The pancakes were to die for Kees. Bed was very comfy...

So easy when guests become your friends! This couple were just that - friendly and caring of us and lovely to Chelsea - our ageing cat! Our point of difference is our breakfast menu, and offering gluten free options is part of that. Always just endeavouring to do our very best for our lovely guests.

I have stayed often at Ambleside over the past three years in coming and going to our bach in the Abel Tasman. Each time is fabulous. Robyn and Kees greet me as a friend and are tuned in to whether I am tired or relaxed. Very caring towards me and my family. Kees's breakfasts have to be the best in...

This is an amazing B and B. We stayed 2 nights and enjoyed the lovely company of our hosts. Everything was very clean and comfortable and the lovely olde world charm of the bungalow and garden was much enjoyed. Breakfasts were delicious, beds comfy and the bathroom was stocked with lovely toiletries for us to use. Also beautiful fresh fruit,...

Thank you again for the very kind words! Very humbled to hear such wonderful accolades, we just endeavour to do our best... The toiletries are made at Founder's Heritage Park in the Apothecary there owned and operated by Carol Priest. Robyn and Keef made us most welcome at their bed and breakfast accommodation. Their home cooking was delicious. They accommodated my allergy for cats by ensuring that theirs did not come anywhere near me. They were most helpful in assisting us to plan our day in the local area. We only wish we could have stayed longer.

Many thanks for the wonderful review! We do have a cat, Chelsea, who does love to hang out with our guests! However, she spends some time in her enclosure outside during the day, and we are more than happy to ensure she is not in the guest area if guests have an allergy. Always delighted to be able to help...

We arrived around dinnertime and left early the next morning, but in that short period of time, Robyn and Kees provided exactly what we needed: advice on our travels the next day, free use of WiFi and a phone, a warm and cozy bed, and a first-class breakfast. We wish we could have stayed longer at their lovely B&B and...

Thank you so much to the lovely guests for writing such a wonderful review! We are very humbled by these words, as we certainly DO NOT claim to provide a perfect service, we just do our best! Robyn & Kees are very friendly and good hosts. They take personal care of their guests and make your stay feel very warm and comfortable. Their B&B is clean, gardens are great with a nice sitting area, wifi's strong and fast, rooms are spacious enough and breakfast is awesome. This is a great place with great people.
