Honey House is located on a small farm a few kilometers outside Nelson in a peaceful valley complete with fruit trees, an organic garden and a few horses and sheep. Although described as a B&B, rooms at the Honey House come complete with a full kitchen so self-catering is an option. There are two rooms (upstairs and downstairs) located in...

We spent a week at the Honey House and thoroughly enjoyed our stay. It is an organic farm which the proprietors, Jezebel and Christine, are working on to become self-sustaining. The cottage itself, a two bedroom unit, was fairly basic but quite comfortable. The surroundings include fruit and nut trees, flowering shrubs, a pasture with two friendly horses, sheep grazing,...

Honey House is the best B&B we used in New Zealand. Set at the end of a country lane on a hillside farm 10 minutes North of Nelson, it provides fully fitted separate cottages with king size beds and terraces, overlooking fields and natural bush. The enormous continental breakfast prepared by Jezebel includes everything from smoothies, to pastries and cakes....
