Opened in August 2014, Crossroads Ecomotel is a newly built motel offering affordable quality accommodation in Port Augusta. The energy efficient buildings feature rammed earth, double glazing and SIPs to keep the heat and noise out and comfort in. Spacious rooms with kitchenette, ensuite, king bed, reverse cycle AC, large outdoor deck, leather lounge & 40" wall mounted TV. We receive lots of compliments on how comfortable the beds are and how good guests have slept. Many stay an extra night and most plan their return to stay with us again. We also have 2 rooms that are pet friendly (pets allowed in the rooms) but please call us to check availability.

Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

On arrival at the Crossroads Ecomotel I was warmly greeted and checked in promptly. The reception area features a large lounge, which would be enjoyable for a longer stay. Reception is away from the accommodation area, being a couple of minutes walk away. My room was enormous and featured an outdoor terrace. It was extremely hot when I visited, but my room, with its rammed earth wall felt nice and cool. The bed and leather lounge were very comfortable and the only thing that let the room down was the rather chipped desk. I liked my room and am happy to recommend Crossroads Ecomotel.

Large spotless light filled modern room with lounge and table for 2. Kitchen facilities good with large sink, crockery, kettle and toaster. Large comfortable bed. Bathroom is well appointed with shower screen. Much better than many motels I have stayed in. We are so glad we booked this motel at the end of a 4 week holiday across three states

Don’t be put off by outward appearances as this place looks like a used car lot from the outside. But rooms are big, king sized bed, modern bathroom, nice veranda overlooking trees. Good sized writing table Walking distance of a nice pub. Recommended

We stayed in a deluxe twin room. After travelling around for the last few weeks this has been the best choice so far. It was very clean and modern. The ensuite was perfect feeling new and also very clean. Easy parking and it is very close to everything. I don’t normally give reviews but this place deserves a good one.

Received a warm welcome from a charming and knowledgeable host. Room was a good size for three adults, well presented and laid out, comfortable beds and very clean. The launderette, at no extra cost, was a real bonus. No hesitation whatsoever in recommending this motel.

The bed was so comfortable and it was so lovely to relax after a long drive. Can’t recommend high enough for well behaved pets and owners..

We stayed in a deluxe room which was clean, spacious and comfortable. Big comfy couch, and very comfy bed with excellent pillows. Easy check-in, very accommodating for late arrival. Definitely our number 1 choice of accommodation when travelling through Port Augusta.

An excellent motel. Rooms are clean, light and airy - especially due to the high ceilings. The queen bed was very comfortable indeed. Well positioned. We stiopped for 1 night on the way home. Will stop again if passing through. Pub and food outlests nearby.
