Wasn’t expecting too much for Port Augusta though was pleasantly surprised staying here overnight. A hotel doesn’t have to be 5 star to be enjoyable and comfortable. Sometimes it’s the little things that sets it apart .

This is a central hotel on the main highway but there is very little road noise when inside the room. It’s very neat, tidy, and clean. Reception was efficient, helpful and friendly. The pictures online make it look dated. It’s not new, but it has been well maintained.

What I noticed was that management have gone above and beyond so many other hotels even up to 5 star level, by implementing small improvements that make a difference.

Might not be important to some but I valued the room dimmer light switches and the power points with inbuilt usb charging. So good to be able to turn on a dimmed light at night. Love how the block out curtains, actually close properly. Nice features that are rare.

The complimentary continental breakfast was thoughtful. Selections are offered when you check in and can be taken back to your room to enjoy in the morning. Toast and cereal, more than adequate.

Huge comfortable bed and nice flowing shower. No restaurant but next door is a good take out and across the road a Foodland.

Phoning direct may well get you a better price than booking online. Would definitely stay again.

Booked 3 nights in a deluxe room using the hotel's web site at a costing of $118/night.
The hotel fronts the Eyre Hwy, like an inverted U. So once past reception, there is little road noise.
Check in good with eating info. We were allocated Room 12, right down the back.
Our room was very comfortable, with a queen bed, couch, a couple of dining chairs & table. Microwave, bar fridge, jug & toaster so you can make a light breakfast. The door has a security screen so the door can be left open. The window is also openable. Plenty of power points too.
Wifi is free, fast & reliable.
The ensuite is smallish but works well. There is wall mounted liquid soap over the hand basin & wallmounted liquid soap & shampoo in the shower. The shower gave good water pressure. There is an openable window in the ensuite.
The site has a rear entry making it easier than launching yourself on to the highway. The outside is well maintained.
There are also laundry favilities. $5 a washing load. Dryers & a clothesline is also provided.
Our room was serviced each day, with items replenished.
We thought this hotel very good value.

Booked 1 night accommodation in a queen room for $140.
The motel is located in West Port Augusta on the Eyre Hwy. Its a single storey building built on 2 sides with car parking in front of the rooms. There is a rear entry to the complex making it easier to get out & on your way, although it wasn't open when we departed this time.
Friendly greeting & allocated Room 12, down the back.
The units have a security screen door. Its a spacious room with sofa, dining table, microwave kettle toaster etc.
The bed is comfortable too. Wifi is excellent & air con good too. There is very little road noise even though the motel is located right on the highway.
The ensuite is a good size, with a good shower.
We have stayed here before & enjoy its amenities & location.

This was our second choice but we ended up staying twice!
Very walkable to shops (over the bridge).
Tariff included breakfast, and, they give Seniors Discount.
Book in was quick, friendly and chatty.
Both rooms were exceptionally clean. Beds were very comfortable.
Lovely hot showers.
Very quiet even though it’s on a the main road and because the central courtyard is paved and not gravel like usual, the motel itself is quiet.
Can’t say much more, other than definitely give this place a try!

Reasonable motel but a bit tired and in need of a renovation. Quite dark around our room and the carpark. Reasonable choice of takeaway foods and Foodworks supermarket within walking distance but otherwise it’s a drive to other dining choices.

Spacious clean comfortable room with spotless bathroom which was perfect to break up a big journey with a overnight stop. Kettle toaster microwave available with takeaway food next door and 2 pubs a short walk away.

This is the best value motel on the Eyre Hwy. Ok, the competition is not that good, but I like staying at the Augusta Courtyard Motel. The rooms are very well furnished and always very clean. They also provide a free continental breakfast and the room rate is very reasonable. There is also a great hotel across the road with a good bistro.

We came back for a second night and we had a great night's sleep after camping out for a few days in the Flinders. Hosts Jason and Shannon Stratman were very welcoming and helpful. Lovely kingsize bed with all the amenities we needed for a comfortable nights stay. Everything was clean and tidy and the cost was reasonable with a free continental breakfast. A very enjoyable stay and would recommend to anyone looking for quality.

Was only a one night stay on a long road trip. But was a gem of a place. Nice tidy room. Greeted by lovely people. Spacious parking right at the door. A complimentary packed breakfast was all you could ask for. Hot water and clean toilets were excellent.

Very clean and comfortable. We stayed twice in our travels to Uluru. Book direct and you receive a free continental breakfast. It was the best kept accommodation we stayed in on our travels. The room was exceptionally clean which is very refreshing.
