Excellent food. Very large serves. All really delicious. It was nighttime in winter so we couldn't eat in the outdoor area which looked lovely - inside areas were adequate but not flash. Value for money was excellent. Had a drink which was also good value.

Had a great meal here. Servings are very generous! Partner opted for a half serve available with sone meals and that was very generous. I had a full meal and struggled to get through a gigantic chicken schnitzel. Was given take away container to take the rest away. Under $60 for two mains, a beer & soft drink. Staff were great and nothing was too much trouble. Highly recommended.

Wow!!! We only found this amazing gem of a hotel by accident when we had car trouble and had to spend a day or two in Port Augusta on route to Uluru.....And as a result of the amazing service and food we actually planned our trip back home so we could stop in again! The meals are EPIC. Great, full sized and flavourful pub fair. You WILL NOT leave hungry and the staff are all so down to earth and lovely! See you again soon!

Great little country pub. Real local vibe. Huge meals and typical pub fare- schnitzels, fish and chips, pasta. Prices were average and serving sizes big! Most of the staff were friendly and helpful.

What a brilliant pub in every way. The girls behind the bar are so friendly and helpful.
Most important is the food. Best pub grub ever. Ordered 400gram rump steak, thinking it would be chewy but every mouthful was tender and cooked to petfection. There is a salad bar which you help yourself to, as well as bread rolls. All this at very readonable prices. The position of the pub is a bonus as it is right beside the water way.

At the end of the road overlooking the estuary, ordered Baramundi and rump steak, absolutely perfic! Good service in a local pub no pretensions, just honest good food for the right price nicely served with sauce options couldn't be faulted.

My family had dinner there last night, good range of meals to choose from on the menu, which is good for fussy teenagers. food was excellent with the steaks cooked perfectly with fresh crisp salad. Arrived really quickly. Staff very friendly. Definitely come back again.

family wedding was in back venue in which you could hire out hotel staff were good we needed extra seating and tables which was provided straight away bar prices were very well priced for a function food was provided by family and cooked on well provided bbq area fridge space was easily to obtain no rush or time limit every body had a good time the manager was really easy to get on with

This pub is in a good location so I thought I would try it and sit outside in the dirt and grime. I ordered after standing at the dining room bar for a long time and then after another long wait I was served raw crumbed squid that was cold with terrible prepared 'salad' of pasta and coleslaw in mayonnaise. Was revolting, which went well with the smokers. Terrible worst country pub I have ever been to.

The seafood meal - crumbed prawns and calamari - was close to the best I've ever had. Unbelievable. The dining room is plain but noise-friendly, the staff just terrific and the food just superb. Could not get better seafood anywhere. Well done Augusta Hotel.
