I recently stayed in the accommodation, paying only $97 for the night.

At that price, can't really complain.

The room was okay, paint stripping off the walls, relatively clean (just don't look under the bed), very out dated with a clunky and noisey air-cond system which you certainly can't keep on at night simply due to the noise.

The bathroom is cramped with the sink in the kitchen. There was a random extension cord on the bench 🤷

The pillows should have been replaced a long long time ago as they have no substance to then even with two, still woke with a sore neck.

Look for under $100 it did the job.

We were on vacation from Adelaide to Port Lincoln. At the beginning of our vacation we stopped at the cafe within the hotel really enjoyed our lunch. On the return trip to Adelaide we decided to stop here again. However, the cafe was closed on the Saturday so we moved into the small dining area near the bar. Admittedly those areas need renovation, but don't be put off by that. I ordered grilled chicken breast with garlic sauce and it was excellent, not dry and tough as it can be in some other pubs. In fact, all four of us found the food delicious and very well prepared. This is unpretentious but top quality pub food. The cook really knows his stuff.

I was so pleasantly surprised by the accommodation here. At $50 per night (1 person), I wasn't expecting much, but when I walked into my room I was very happy (inside room in hotel). Very large room with nice comfortable queen bed, table & chairs, bar fridge, tea & coffee, large LCD TV and ensuite. I was originally going to be paying $60 for a backpackers room at a local caravan park, but changed when I found out they had no fridge. So glad I did! The only negative was the baby that woke me early in the morning and cried for some time. If it hadn't been for that, I would have rated it excellent.

We had lunch at the flinders hotel today and the food and service were terrible. I had a chicken parmy which was only warm, and pretty average, 2 others had the barra, which they thought was terrible and they just ate the the chips and salad. All of us left most of the meal. The meals came out without cutlery and we had to find someone to bring some, and when they brought the cutlery they just placed the sets in the middle of the table and walked away. Very average meals and slack service. We had asked for a glass of water with lemon and were told they would bring it to the table, next minute someone came with the lemon but no one brought the glass of water with ice...no one brought us the water we had to go to the bar again. We left very disappointed and would not recommend this hotel.

Rooms are old, dark and totally outdated. Bathroom so small, that hand basin is placed within the kitchenette. All rooms facing the backyard, where the smelly rubbish bins are kept. Aircon noisy, but generator outside are even noisier.

Electrical cables draped over walls, could only get one TV channel, listed but no closet just hooks & hangers at fridge end of room, toilet/shower area no room to move, nowhere to hang wet towels, no hand towel or face cloths, high bar table & stools very uncomfortable for elderly, listed but no electric blanket, bed very hard. Sorry Flinders Hotel Motel, but at $100 per night your accommodation was sub-standard, most disappointing & very poor value for money.

Nice clean rooms, affordable price, lovely and welcoming staff. Will stay again if ever passing through Port Augusta. Stayed in the rooms outside the pub that were nice and quiet as was the car park outside the rooms. Was advised by staff to turn air conditioner on at power point and adjust to temperature required. Also turn fridge on at power point and turn on inside the fridge all worked fine. Shower and toilet were spotless and lovely clean sheets for me to relax and watch the big plasma on the wall, where there were quite a few channels to choose from. Had to move kettle to a power point were it could reach all in all a comfortable stay. I’m a happy camper

The rooms were average ensuite pub rooms. Unfortunately the walls are thin and the pub is noisy. Not the greatest choice of you have heaps of driving to do the following day.
If you're up for a party though, this is probably the place for you.

Visited tge Flinders Hitel Cena on Chapel restaurant. Great value for money. Hubby had a 500gm rump steak char grilled to perfection and I had a Seafood Basket entree of garlic pizza. We both could not finish our food. Flavours were amazing. Highly recommend.

Hi there, well you said in your own words that you're arriving. Why shouldn't you arrive then under normal circumstances? If your question is regarding check in, for sure. The flinders is only 10 minutes away.
