Detailed Reviews
Enjoyed this modest MOTEL for dozens of time over the last 40 years when arriving from Coober Pedy in my truck after 16 hour 1000 km. drive- tired HUNGRY, thirsty & just looking forward to a good nights sleep. Well until some years ago "THE PIZZA HUT" was just next door & arriving after dark I'd just make it there before closing time, the staff got to know me and were always kind & the PIZZA'S THEN were just "TOPS"now PIZZA HUT is gone, as is the RSL club where reasonable priced meals & drinks could be enjoyed together with a "GOOD YARN". Even as the management changed over time this little motel kept the standard & despite the many changes you can be sure to get a neat & tidy room for a good nights sleep.

Although the rooms are a little older they are spotlessly clean. The beds are very comfortable, the shower has good pressure and the room was very comfortable. They have complimentary hot chocolate, which isn't standard and really appreciated by someone who doesn't drink tea or coffee. The room had fridge, kettle, toaster and microwave, again not standard in Adelaide and great if you have had enough of eating out. The design is a little different, with hanging space for clothes in the bathroom, but it's a spacious room and it works. The gentleman who booked me in was friendly and welcoming. I'd come back again without hesitation.

Travelling from Coober Pedy with a stopover in Adelaide on way back to Victoria. The long haul was from Darwin so for value & convenience the Enfield is terrific. It is spotlessly clean, extras like cold water in fridge, plates, bowls & cutlery, things we did not get at twice the price on the way from Darwin. Very friendly & obliging checkin. Good pizza just up the road. It’s a budget motel with owners that really care, highly recommend.

If you like noisy traffic , an average shower coupled with a 'bogan' lady with a couple of 2-4 yr old kids who stay up past 11pm screaming off the balcony while she smokes and does nothing - this is the place for you. Only food options around are junk food, otherwise room was clean and spacious.

I arrived at the wrong place i should have been dropped by the taxi at the Enfield Hotel but ended up at the Enfield Motel The manager very kindly organised for his wife to look after reception whilst he drove me to the other hotel. If they show this generosity to a person who isn't a client what service must they give to their clients.

Sure its on a busy road - the property is dark 60's brick and if you blink, in typical madcap Adelaide traffic I missed the entrance driveway so took a loop left at the corner got me there... Adelaide drivers seem madcap - is it road rage or do they just dislike cars with out of state number plates!
I was impressed with the Enfield Motel unit... an honest price and provide what can be described as a huge bed - king size. Comfortable - VERY!
Great shower - clean and with excellent towels with shampoo etc...
Secure parking and the gate at back is closed off at night...
Food - not that takeaways are my thing, neighbours are Rays Outdoors then a McDonald's alongside - Red Rooster over the road.
A decent work table for paperwork - ironing board and all the stuff that you need on the road.
Pleasant and helpful reception staff - as another reviewer said...."Good cheap place in North Adelaide”... That says it all, give them a try...

No issue with hotel but the booking process. We unknowingly booked through a fraudulent website that was obviously accredited with the hotel.
We had driven 1000km only to discover our booking was cancelled and we were never notified. The hotel made us pay a second time, so we ended up paying twice. Although the hotel accepted the booking they cancelled it because the booking agent never paid them.
Neither the hotel or Ibis or Accor would help us and are not interested in our issue. In fact they make it impossible to even lodge a complaint.
We won’t be staying in any more Accor (Ibis) hotels as they take bookings from fraudsters, cancel the booking and make you pay again.

It's OK. . It's a budget hotel but it's clean. It's on a main road so there is some traffic noise. The bed reflected the budget price, the big bonus for us was space to park a 4wd and trailer securely. It seems to attract a lot of "interesting" guests but we didnt hear anyone else. A microwave toaster and kettle were provided.

Pleasantly surprised by the quality of the room, the friendly people and low price. Being a budget priced room, my room was a lot better than expected - better than more expensive places I have stayed. Comfortable bed, good sized desk area and roomy bathroom with good quality towels. Best of all - despite being an older motel, it was extremely well maintained and very clean. Good sized fridge, microwave, toaster and kettle. Good, off-street, secure parking.
