Motel style hotel with easy parking in front of each unit. Very large well equipped rooms with both a double and single bed as well as sofa and table and chairs. Kitchen with all the essentials and spacious and clean en suite.
The location is quiet and not central but convenient if you have a car to reach all areas of Herbert Bay and the airport.
Yong who also runs a travel agency was fantastic. She organised a very fairly priced package including overnight on the unmissable Lady Elliot Island and our trip to Fraser Island with 4WD hire, barge and excellent accommodation. Everything was perfect.

This was an unexpected delight in Hervey Bay that exceeded my expectations. It turned out to be charming! It is set in a gorgeous extensive garden and the lodgings made for a uniquely Australian experience. There were birds in the morning, a deck attached to room, a huge well appointed clean and quiet room with all amenities provided to be able to have coffee and cook breakfast if you so choose. The host went above and beyond to introduce tours for Fraser Island, store my car was I was away for one night, give directions and assist me with all the other questions someone new to Hervey Bay would have even though I arrived late. Can't recommend this accommodation enough!

It is with a pleasure I write a review on Emeraldine inn & eco lodge at Hervey Bay. We were just passing through and we spotted this little place hidden amongst the trees, you drive up the tranquil driveway and you get to the office area. The hotel It’s is set in a pleasant setting.
The office Lady in there was so helpful she was giving us all the information of things to do in Hervey Bay and Fraser Coast Region, and then we went to our room and had a nice little kitchen and they had extremely clean facilities and the beds so very comfortable. It is is a 31/2 star hotel but I would rate it a 4 star plus. I will visit again on my return from top end. The staff were over helpful and extremely knowledgeable able the region. It was a real breathe of fresh air to visit.

Yong organised the entire trip for us at a reasonable price - first to Lady Elliot and then on to Fraser Island with stays at Emeraldene Inn in between. Yong organised transport from and to the Inn as well as flights and barge and it all ran extremely smoothly. Emeraldene Inn was very comfortable, clean and with lovely hot showers in a private bushland setting, away from the road and very quiet. Would highly recommend the accommodation and travel advice and assistance. Many thanks for a terrific week Yong.

Luckily the weather was great. Having said that the accommodation (we had our own bathroom) was clean and comfortable. They provided a wide range of activities that were all very good. The buffet breakfast and diner were very good considering the remoteness of the location. I though I may get a little bored but this did not occur. The flight from Coolangatta was also great - punctual and the scenery was fantastic.
Also the process for booking the accommodation and flight was done without any issues.

We had been planning our Australia trip for over 3 years after Covid delays but even with 5 weeks of travelling to choose from - we all agree that our Lady Elliot Island was the absolute highlight that we will never forget. Our eco-lodge was simple but clean, comfortable and peaceful and only a few steps from the sea. The island was idyllic and the staff so friendly. We loved the sunset drinks on the beach each day and we were able to have a special cake and nibbles evening for my husband's birthday. The snorkelling was fantastic - couldn't believe wall the things we saw. Manta rays, loads of Turtles who happily let us scratch their shells (as the staff told us they enjoyed this!). One HUGE stingray and a reef shark which were exciting. We loved the range of fish and choices of snorkelling on the reef whenever you fancied walking off the beach. The food each day was plentiful and even our picky eater found something she liked. She also loved the Buffet Bandit birds (as they were known)! Our son got to sit up front in the plane ride over which he will never forget. The colours of the sea and reef will stay with us forever. Thank you so much for all your help planning this visit. It was absolutely out of this world.

Stayed here for 6 weeks while on a contract, Matt and Dani are very friendly, extremely approachable, and amazing hosts! Great communication, nothing ever felt like an issue, and when the wifi issues started arising they were very quick and proactive about finding and implementing solutions, which was very much appreciated. Love the environment, feels like they have their own oasis with being surrounded by so much greenery, brings a very calming and peaceful vibe to the stay. Would definitely recommend and hope to return some day.

This was a great place to stay, quiet, peaceful surrounded by a lovely forest garden. There is a great little pool which the kids loved having a splash in after our trip the Fraser Island. We stayed here between trips to Fraser and Lady Elliot Island which the hotel had organised for us. We were allowed to leave a large suitcase at the hotel whilst we were on each island which made those trips so much easier.
The room was spacious, very clean and tidy and had everything in the kitchen for a self catering stay.
The staff is what makes this hotel a great place to stay, warm, friendly and so helpful. Nothing was too much trouble. Would I stay here again, yes I would.
