The Beachside Motor Inn is situated on the Esplanade in Pialba, Hervey Bay, with the Central Business District, RSL Club, shops and restaurants 200m behind the motel, it makes for a great stay. Our onsite managers, Christine and Andy, operate this establishment and take pride in their prompt and friendly service. A quiet location opposite a safe beach with many playgrounds and water park in the area make it popular with families. Our motel has Motel and Family rooms as well as 2 Bedroom Apartments. Also available on site is a salt water pool and spa, BBQ facilities and guest laundry. Corporates and Sales Reps are more than welcome with room service available. We can BOOK all TOURS and ACTIVITIES – Fraser Island, Whale Watching (Jul-Nov), Lady Elliot, Scenic Tours, Fishing Charters, Golf, Bowls, Diving, Sailing, Sky Diving, Dinner Cruises, Dolphin Tours, Bicycle hire, Horse riding, all water sports and many other activities. Most tours offer free transfer to and from motel. You are able to leave your car at the motel at no extra charge. We pulled in early one evening with no booking, the caretakers were super nice and offered a great rate for the night, cheaper then online. Room was fresh and clean. Shower was amazing, instant hot water and plenty of water pressure. Great location walking distance to supermarket and awesome playground for the kids.

Had to visit ill relatives in the Bay so were seeking moderate, good value accommodation at a last minutes notice. Manager Melissa, was very helpful and rapidly found suitable accommodation for all of our family. Lovely rooms, nice but small pool. Property is very convenient to Pialba Shopping Centre and several other facilities as well as to the Water Park, kids skate ramp and water front and beaches of Hervey Bay.Highly recommended for value for money.

Beautiful motel on the esplanade of Hervey Bay. The motor has large rooms great shower and comfy beds. Our queen room had a small kitchenette with a jug and toaster and microwave with a bar size fridge. Easy walking distance to the beach and supermarket and local restaurants. I would highly recommend this motel.

We were booked to stay two nights at this hotel in February. On the day we were due to check-in my traveling companion fell ill so we tried to contact the hotel for an early check-in (only an hour early). The number was disconnected. We drove to the motel to find reception closed and what looked like a construction site in the office, there were no other guest cars so we assumed the place had closed down. I rang our booking agent who explained that check-in was at 2 pm and they couldn't help us until after that time. We hurriedly found a nearby hotel to check in to and prepared ourselves to pay the cancellation fee. After 2 pm I personally visited the Beachside Motel to explain the situation. The hostess was lovely and said that it was a perfectly understandable circumstance given that their phone was out of order. She said she would not charge us and all I had to do was cancel via the booking agent which we did. The cancellation was charged and that should have been the end of that. However, when we arrived home I found that the Beachside Hotel had charged us for two full nights accommodation on top of the cancellation fee. Naturally, I contacted the Beachside Hotel again to see if this was an error. The owner proceeded to blame the booking agent even though my bank statement clearly showed it was charged by the Beachside Motel in Hervey Bay. I feel robbed. I was assured by this person that she understood our situation and that she would be happy with just the cancellation fee. As it turned out we were just RIPPED OFF by a small business owner that should have had the decency to be honest in the first place. This is not a good example of why we should support small business.

This guest if she had come in the office she would have found it was just being painted and everything was open and her room was ready There may not have been many cars parked but this is not unusual as guests had checked out but our own truck plus the painters van was in the car park. I am not sure why her calls never came through as our phone was working and we had received other calls including one from Expedia who the booking was through checking we were open. When the lady came into the office later I explaned all this to her and said she had to notify Expedia and she could cancel the booking. No email or phone call came from them as it was confirmed and commission would be taken from us I had to take payment The guest should not have been charged any cancellation fee by any agent. It is disappointing to us as we do our best to please all our guests. Regards Management

We had the two bedroom self contained unit. Sadly it hadn’t been renovated as yet. The couch/sofa bed was broken and two people could not sit on the seat. The arm covers on the couch were very dirty and the couch itself was old and worn. There were fly screens missing on some windows and I couldn’t open the window for fresh air. The room didn’t smell fresh, quite old and musty. The shower head kept “flopping” down and we couldn’t fix this.
Unfortunately we didn’t stay due to the musty smell and condition of the couch. As we were staying due to an insurance claim in our house we were hoping for something better. We didn’t address these issues with the owner as we are aware they are renovating each room and obviously hadn’t got to this one.

We had a great stay here on our Australian holiday. The rooms are immaculate and provide great amenities (fridge, kettle, microwave). The beach and Esplanade walking path are right across the street. Plenty of restaurants and shops nearby, including a grocery store. The owners are also terrific. We appreciated their recommendations on tours, walks, places to eat, etc. Great value as well. We wouldn't hesitate to stay here again.

Staff was Lovely and Location was great. However I wasn't happy with the state of the room. For a 4 star accommodation and $200 a night the fridge was dirty aswell as most of the door frames n walls. Found 2 dirty tissues and Lollie wrappers. 2 chairs in the apartment where broken. Room defiantly needs a Reno as there where alot of chips in walls, cupboards, bathroom vanity ect..

The room was spacious, well-appointed, and spotlessly clean, providing a comfortable stay. The staff were friendly and welcoming, adding to the positive experience. The location is also a bonus, with shops and other amenities within easy walking distance. However, the internet was quite slow, averaging around 2 Mbps, which could be frustrating for those needing to work or stream. Additionally, the walls were a bit thin, so noise from neighbouring rooms was occasionally noticeable.

We had a very pleasant overnight stay here while calling into Hervey Bay to visit family. The location was perfect for us to walk to family. The room was pristinely immaculate with a comfy bed and a fully equipped kitchenette.. the ensuite was immaculate , toiletries and great towels. I was particularly pleased to find plenty of plugs. So often in motels it’s a struggle to plug in chargers, tooth brush etc but this room had an abundance.

Has been very pleasantly updated and the room was very spacious. Very comfortable queen bed with nice linen. Ensuite was great with good hot water and nicely fitted out. Had microwave, kettle & toaster with limited cutlery & crockery to use.
