We wanted to stay in the villa Cavour as a small piece of luxury during some travelling and it really didn’t disappoint. I can’t stress enough how great this place was. From the fully equipped and shiny kitchen to the very handy free electric bikes. It had everything you could possibly want in such a scenic place. Also, the hosts were so accommodating and kind, we felt so comfortable. They even let us relax by the pool while we were waiting for the bus after we’d checked out. Can’t recommend villa Cavour enough for anyone and everyone that wants to stay in Hervey bay

We loved our stay at Villa Cavour! The large room was comfortable and sitting on our balcony looking out over the pool was very relaxing. The well stocked kitchen, dining and living area was a lovely communal area. The pizza oven is available for guests to use and we had delicious wood fired pizzas. There are e-bikes available to use and along the esplanade is a great place to ride (especially to Enzos for a sunrise breakfast). There is a kayak available to use and a beautiful bay to paddle in (you may even see turtles). Dxean booked us on a whale watching tour which is one of the best things we have done for a long time. Dean & Tania are great hosts and we will be back!

What a gorgeous place ! I thoroughly enjoyed my stay here over Easter with friends and family. Villa Cavour offers everything I needed - a gorgeous, airy room (and balcony overlooking the pool), well-stocked kitchen, wifi, pool, pizza oven, e-bikes, no pets. And it is just 5 houses from the beach, and a little further to Brew & View, an excellent cafe to pop into after a sunrise walk. Tania and Dean are wonderful hosts, and will happily share their knowledge on the best things to do while in Hervey Bay (Enzo's on a Sunday afternoon was a highlight). Highly recommended.

I ran my first 4 day retreat and could not ask for a better venue. Great venue for a retreat with small group and also a perfect place for family to stay. Make sure you talk to Dean to learn about the local outings/ tours. Close to the beach, we enjoyed watching the sunrise and sunsets, taking daily walks to the beach. The pool and the setting around is a nice place to unwind. The hosts Dean and Tania were amazing, welcoming, and they made sure all amenities were available for all the guests. The ladies who participated in the retreat enjoyed their stay. I look forward to staying at Villa Cavour again. Tania and Dean are the new owners, they don't have any pets, the entire villa is clean, beautiful, the pool is great. My family stayed enjoyed the stay as well. All in all a beautiful place run by amazing human beings. We enjoyed our stay thoroughly. …

My husband and I have stayed here twice and have had a wonderful experience each time. The hosts are friendly, helpful and a joy to be around. The room we stayed in was a good size, clean, well presented and had an ensuite. The common areas downstairs are lovely and comfortable and well stocked with all the essentials to make for a very pleasant stay. Although not located along the beach front, the location of Villa Cavour is in a lovely area only a short drive from the swimming beaches and restaurants and close to the bike path that can take you all the way to the Urangan Pier.

Stayed for 2 nights. Loverly room, good bed. Wifi, airco, all very good. Excellent breakfast and super coffee! Friendly hostess. Not far from the esplanade. Perfect place for a stay at Hervey Bay or a visit at Fraser Island

Because we got lost, we came much later (8PM) than we had planned, or wanted and were greeted VERY frostily by the hostess. We had a clean room with only a shower, lovelocks, comfortable king bed, quite sleep. Breakfast was delightful:scrambled eggs, canadian bacon, fried eggplant, 1/2 tomato, a mushroom, 2 slices of airy bread.

I stayed here one night in August. After having stayed at several B&Bs over the last couple of months my review is in comparison to these stays. Like all the B&Bs I have been to recently, it was very clean and pride is taken with the place. This was not the most friendly service we have had but for one night it suited our needs. We were unable to take advantage of the full breakfast because we left before 8 am. I can see where the negative reviews on TA have come from in the past. It is out of town a bit and you need a car to get into Hervey Bay. It was some way off the highway and so not worth the drive into Hervey Bay if you are traveling on the A1.

Villa Cavour Bed and Breakfast, was such a lovely place to spend our 15 year anniversary. The owners were such lovely people and made our stay very comfortable and relaxing. I loved coming down of a morning to a wonderful home cooked breakfast that was really delicious. Thank you for a memorable weekend.

As a birthday gift I was given a voucher to do a cooking lesson followed by dinner. Lovely hosts and what an experience. Nice size kitchen and everything was well organised and we made pasta from scratch. Mugging in with flour and hands, then pressing and making different pasta dishes. Wines were explained and tasted, very nice. The whole experience was different and I learnt a lot. Thanks Mara and Rosco.
