Thanks for your review Jen - we are pleased over all you enjoyed your stay despite the weather. Rain is not really the friend of a camper and we hope this didn't stop you from enjoying the Hervey Bay area. Great campground away from the hustle and bustle. Quiet and clean. A walk to the beach is definitely doable, about 15 minutes or so. Good area to find running paths. Jump on the ferry and explore Fraser Island.

Rooms are basic and a bit older but clean. Very comfy. Pool and playground for the kids. Staff are good. Only downfall is not enough shelves in bathroom for toiletries. Quiet and peaceful. ............

After visiting fraser island a couple friends of mine and I stayed in Lazy Acres. We arrived at night and nobody was there, the indications they previously gave us to find the keys were certainly not so accurate. There is not a hair drier on the caravan. The location and the pool are nice. They just have to work on...

Friendly and helpful reception lady, beautifully presented small caravan park with what appears to be 90% permanent residency. Terrific value self contained units. Ours was spotlessly clean with good amenities. Nice size fridge, microwave etc.. On the negative side bed was hard and noisy (creaks and groans when you get in and out)
