We booked 3 nights at the Admiral Court based mostly on the reviews here. It didn't dissapoint. The rooms themselves are well laid out and well equipped (good modern equipment, kitchenware,TV, etc). The rooms were all spotlessly clean and no signs of ware and tear. Wifi internet is free and performs well. Locations wise its excellent. Its next door to...

Our Queen Studio was a good size, clean and well equipped. The bathroom was especially spacious and we had a veranda that overlooked the bay. Admiral Court is a pleasant 30 minute walk - or 3-4 minute drive - along the sea front to the town centre but is right next door to two of Kaikoura's top rated restaurants and...

The Kaikoura motel industry is suffering from the effects of the earthquake, so almost every place has availability despite it being high season. We'd booked this motel before the earthquake, and would thoroughly recommend it. I think the location is great- not in town, but next to the best two eateries (one being the great pub the Pier Hotel) in...

We really enjoyed our apartment at the motel. Thank you for your hospitality. It is very convenient to places to eat and a pleasant walk down to see the seals. There is some very nice local art decorating the rooms, a great touch.

We had booked in here before the earthquake and spent several weeks wondering if we would actually make it in time for Christmas. Fortunately both the inland route and State Highway 1 were open on the day we were due to arrive and so we arrived on schedule. The welcome we received from Julianna and Mike was amazing and they...

The location is ok, it's not right on the beach like some others in the area but the price reflects this. The staff was helpful and friendly and the room was clean and fairly up to date. There was nothing outstanding about it and the price was ok.

My husband, son and myself were visiting New Zealand on holiday from the US. We had the unfortunate luck of arriving in Kaikoura the very day of the earthquake. We had gone to bed in peace and quiet in a lovely little beach town and were awakened immediately after midnight on November 14, 2016 to the world being shaken to...

A group of five couples stayed at Admiral Court Motel for two nights. The accommodation was very clean, in great condition and the owners were so wonderfully accommodating about all the changes we needed to make at short notice. They were very welcoming, very helpful and quietly contributed to a successful car club outing. The rooms had everything you'd expect....

Our family of five (inc three teenagers) stayed two nights in August. Warm, comfy, clean rooms that were well equipped. Very friendly host gave us some good tips on where to get the best views locally. Nice restaurant (Green Dolphin) just next door.

As per the title. Nice rooms, a little dated but really clean and tidy. Very friendly and great value for money. I don't often stay in Kaikoura but I have now found my 'go to' place when I do. Get shower pressure, warm comfortable beds and even a DVD player in the room - but not needed as lots of...
