Really nice view.. Lovely basic room. Big enough for a couple and a child. Me and my partner stayed in Dec. Loved the view more than anything. It was clean, quiet and well equipped microwave, kettle and toaster. Free wifi too.

Had a lovely stay over easter. We had unit 204, it is upstairs and on the end looking towards the pier.My only complaint is the out dated kitchen utensils and the sofa- abit uncomfortable. Would go back again and stay in the same room. Very friendly staff as well.

My daughter and I stayed in a one-bedroom unit at Panorama Motel at the start of our Christmas holiday. It was a beautiful peaceful way to start the trip. Gorgeous views from our room right across the water to the mountains. Very friendly and helpful owners. The unit was clean and spacious, and it was a real bonus having more...

Fabulous log cabin feel about this motel - we had a 2 brm unit in the middle of the upstairs (202) with a great balcony. We could drive right up behind it and park at the back door which was great. It's part of the main road but you pass right through the township to near the end of the...

Great views and fairly quiet. Handily located to 2 restaurants and 5min drive from downtown. Room was clean and had everything required for a comfortable stay. Would definitely return next time we are in Kaikoura.

The greeting was helpful with suggestions of places to eat, even booked us one. The units all had views facing the sea. There were chairs on the veranda to sit and watch the waves lapping .... Comfortable bed, good shower, full sized fridge, laundry on site, 10 minute walk to a few restaurants, the main town was about 20 /...

We enjoyed a pleasant night here - was great to site out side and watch the world go by. I agree with previous reviews this place is very dated and needs a refeash. We have stayed at better motels for cheaper in tourest towns so do believe this is a gold mine location, if it was given an overhaul. Very...

It's not very expensive but feels really cheap. Ok it's clean and all the bits are there but then the fixtures and fittings, furniture, cutlery and bedding are definitely jaded. WiFi connection is piecemeal and usually non-existent, at $5 for 50meg this is not good. (Who charges for WiFi these days?) In room 208 the signal is unobtainable. The balcony...
