We recently stayed at Lupton Lodge for one night on our way from Auckland to the Bay of Islands, and we enjoyed our brief stay there immensely. Our room was comfortable with plenty of space, comfy bed, large bathroom and free wi-fi. The communal areas were lovely and made the place feel very homely. The location and surrounds were also...

Lupton Lodge was a surprising perfect choice for my 5 night stay in Whangarei simply because my journey was specific to daily visits to Whangarei Hospital. The logical choice would have been a more central location and try to manage without a car. On hindsight I would have still needed a car. I needed a more homely environment with pleasing...

Stayed here for one night during our NZ road trip. Had booked the Gold Room but once we arrived we were upgraded to the Blue Room with the adjoining room opened up for us too. The price was reasonable and included a cooked breakfast. The Lodge is located on the main (bendy) road but you may drive past it. It...

Thankyou for your review and very pleased to hear that you enjoyed our facilities and that you would come back for another stay at some point. I was sorry to hear that you didn't find myself as a host particularly friendly, as our friendly welcome and personal service for each guest is something we pride ourselves on. We should never...

Located just outside town with a narrow, almost missed driveway! Beautiful property with well appointed rooms and great wifi. We had dinner and breakfast in the B&B and both were delicious. Room was a spacious with a desk area and lots of seating, very comfortable. A lovely quiet, peaceful spot with a great host. Would definitely recommend this B&B.

Lovely, quiet, clean place. Run by a nice guy who was the best cook, the food was all really good and reasonably priced. Not a cheap weekend but could not complain about anything and will recommend for a couples get away anytime.
