Great motel, large spacious rooms with excellent amenities. Only complaint is our room was on the ground floor and privacy was an issue as there were no sheer curtains so the heavy drapes had to be closed during the day which means the room is dark and as there are no bedside lamps the overhead lighting is very harsh. I...

This hotel far exceeded expectations! I stayed in a spa suite. The room was huge! There was a sitting area, desk, kitchenette, bathroom, large sized bed and a large spa. It was extremely spacious and clean. The bed was super comfy! Staff were lovely also. Very helpful and attentive. Close to supermarkets and the centre of town. Excellent value for...

Only staying one night on our way back from Taupo and decided to have a look at this beautiful old town. A little like Napier still has a lot of old architecture in the Main Street. The motor lodge is at one end of the Main Street and across the street from two large supermarkets. Location is reasonably quiet at...

Excellent accommodation - the best motel we have ever stayed at in the world (and we've been to a few places). Very comfy, very clean, very modern, can't say enough regarding this luxurious motel. Unfortunately we won't be visiting Wanganui again but if we did this is where we would stay. If you a supermarket junky this is the perfect...

Spotlessly clean and quiet. Nice check-in experience. The bed was wonderfully comfortable. We weren't too keen on the huge bath in the room - mind you if you had a snorer the bath was big enough to sleep in! It seemed redundant and not very tasteful - but again looked very clean. The air conditioner also made a terrible noise...

We recently spent 2 nights at the Aotea motor lodge. We were pleasantly surprised at the size and modern decor of our unit. Very clean and fully equipped including free wifi. Our unit also had a fully covered outside dining area with a view of mount Ruapehu. 3 supermarkets with in a couple of minutes walk

We stayed for 2 nights at this motor lodge and we were most impressed by both the standard of our accommodation and the level of service provided by the hosts and staff. Our room was immaculate and clean. The double spa bath was a most luxurious way of relaxing at the conclusion of each day. Our bed was extremely comfortable,...

Quite a surprising little place, was expecting a run down motel, the rooms were actually quite nice, very nice beds and services, the wifi is good and fast. Might be a little far down the road for some people, but it's only about a 15 min walk into town.

Overall the motel was nice but we had a room toward the back 17 it was built for the disabled. We are not. I felt it was a very dark room and the interior was all brown. No colour at all other than the huge spa.. which we enjoyed. The receptionist were cheerful and very helpful with all our asks....
