What a wonderful place to stay. The owners were new, only been there for 1 week, and were still finding their way. Wonderful, warm friendly people, who went out of their way to ensure our stay was enjoyable. Beds new and very comfortable We stayed in a 2 bedroom apartment, which was very clean, comfortable, fully equipped with everything one...

Clean, comfortable, quiet, all facilities. Helpful owner. The Coromandel is a beautiful area and off the beaten track. The local towns of Thames and Coromandel have interesting histories and welcome visitors

The Lodge is just a couple of km north of Thames itself, just off the road. The units (we stayed in 2 over 4 days) were well-equipped, clean, and the first one had a great view to the sea. The owners were extremely friendly and helpful. We enjoyed our stay, even if it poured down for nearly 24 hours at...

What a nice place to stay. Opposite the Firth of Thames, a water inlet. Nice, peaceful surroundings and quiet. Good service and always a friendly welcome. Real pleasure to stay. Close to town as it is North of Thames, 3 minutes away from town centre. Nice rooms, clean, tidy, always a good nights sleep.

Not walking distance to town but a quick drive so not a problem. You can hear a bit of traffic noise (we were in a room closer to the road and had the windows open due to the heat), but you also hear the sounds of the bush (moreporks), and neither kept us awake. Older style decor bathroom-wise and the...

An excellent one night stay. Comfortable bed and spacious room. A drive into town , lovely aspect and just across the road from a small beach for a walk. Only 2 hour drive from Auckland easy to find. My only minor recommendation would be to prevent smoking on the whole site.

Just out of Thames, this property is nestled in a picturesque setting, surrounded by bush and facing out towards the Firth of Thames. Enjoyed the sunsets, and local birdlife. Friendly, relaxed hospitality. Our 'Sea View Studio Chalet' was spacious and well equipt, and situated upstairs. Loved the local information provided in the (slightly dated) Guest Information folder. Wi-fi easily accessed,...

Couldn't fault a thing! Friendly owners. Clean rooms with more than expected in the kitchen, great bathroom, excellent bed and lounge set out and a lovely view from the outdoor balcony down the driveway to the sea. Free Wi-Fi and under room carport a bonus! Would definitely recommend it to others and return again ourselves.

Had a lovely relaxing stay in a 2 bedroom cottage unit for 3 nights. Walks on the beach which was just across the road. Played cards at the table and chairs on the deck. Lovely park like surroundings.

This is a wonderful place set against a forested hill facing the bay. The unit was so cozy and we'll set up. The staff are down to earth and friendly. We will deffinately visit again. Very close to town for shops but not to close to feel busy. Grahams town Hotel in town 2 minutes away is a super place...
