We stayed here for 2 nights while briefly exploring the Coromamdel. Our hosts were fantastically helpful, especially because the road up the peninsula from Thames had only just opened when we arrived after landslides closed it due to heavy rain. We were in a small studio that is in a corner of the original house; it was vety small and,...

We only had one night in this great, friendly, quite & well appointed Motel. We wish we could have stayed longer. Everything about the motel was great. A quite setting made for a great nights sleep. Spot on.

We needed a one night stay at the start of our visit to the Coromandel and this was a perfect location with parking outside the apartment. It was comfortable, well equipped, with gardens at the rear leading down to a brook well below. It was a dramatic, stormy night, with extremely heavy rain and the the brook sounded like a...

Motel rooms here were well equipped pleasant to stay in. The owners are very obliging and they keep the building spotless. The motel is situated in a residential area tucked up the hill from the town centre, a lane means you can walk into town to restaurants, bars in 5 minutes, so very convenient. Certainly a good place to stay...

We stayed one night during our tour of the Coromandel, and next time will aim to stay longer! A really nicely appointed one bedroom apartment, with a little sitting out deck at the back looking over trees and bushes. We were made very welcome.

Stayed here for 2 nights while visiting the Coromandel Peninsula and it is great. Accommodation is all 1 bedroom apartments with parking at the door, a 5/10 minute walk to town centre but really quite. As we have been travelling for about 4 weeks we have experienced many similar places ..........all good but all had something not quite right ..........

When we first approached this small motel we though we might have made a mistake as it initially didn't appear to be too flash. However we were both surprised & delighted by not only the rooms but also the facilities & the lady who runs it who couldn't have been more helpful. Very quiet a peaceful setting whilst still within...

We stayed a night in Thames in February with a light rain & low cloud covering the mountains on our way into the town; and what a unique little town it is too! The Brookby Motel is nestled off a side road and in a lovely setting, run by some very nice people and is very cosy on a wet...
