I have two complaints: 1) We weren't staying longer. 2) We didn't get to eat the free-range eggs because we were too full from all the other breakfast treats. Bruz and Shona were truly excellent hosts too - thank you so much! Couldn't recommend highly enough.

The barn was a different accommodation you felt you were really somewhere different. The grounds were tranquil and hearing the birds and chickens made you feel you were in a farm environment. Food was fantastic homely and Moorish. Lovely people to welcome you. Thames area is a must to visit. Would really say this is a must for all.

Totara Valley Barns is just what is says. The converted barn has all the comforts of home, and more. The grounds surrounding the barn has all the countryside, animals, vegetables and quiet, cool places to lounge with a cool drink. This was a revelation as we had no idea the setting was so rural. Being outside Thames is the best...

My Husband and I along with another couple had 2 wonderful nights staying at Totara Valley Barns. We had heard a lot about the new Cycling Trail across the Hauraki Plains and had seen cycylists while driving through the Krangahape Gorge. We chose Totara Barns as the 4 of us could stay together with a lounge area to share. Also...

We stayed at Totara Valley Barns B & B for a couple of nights after Cycling the Hauraki Rail Trail. The converted barn was very nice and Bruz and Shona our hosts were very friendly knowledgeable about the area. There was plenty of space to store our bikes securely and they were happy to look after them while we did...

Helen & I enjoyed a few days at the beginning and end of our month in NZ. Buzz & Shona our hosts had a wealth of knowledge about their country all of which we found invaluable during our trip. The Barns is an unusual barn conversion of the highest quality and the 2 bed on suite independant accomodation is vertually...

Stayed for 4 nights here at Totara Barns and what a find! We had been advised by other friends to spend some of our trip exploring the Coromandel and this was a great place to base ourselves for doing day trips. The accommodation is quaint and set in beautiful natural surroundings and gardens. There are 2 double bedrooms, each with...
