Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

The accommodation is in a good location. But is on a main road. The room ( especially room 1) is very very tired. Bed uncomfortable. Sinks into the middle. Bathroom needs to be refurbished. Floor tiles are uneven & shower base is very cushy. The toilet was very loss. Felt like it was going to break when you sat on it. I guess you get what you pay for..

Close to Margaret River town centre but on the edge. A great location and the property has a great atmosphere. Outside balcony leading to a nice garden and the property has all the amenities you require. It’s like a home away from home in regards to the room amenities. Clean and the reverse cycle aircon is a plus!

Our friend booked your place for a special birthday where we enjoyed a two night stay. Parking up our vehicle and walking everywhere through Margaret River. Conveniently located, everything at our fingertips. Beds comfortable, facilities clean and beautifully presented and the community atmosphere amazing. Thank you, we will be back !

“Riverside” is a bit of an exaggeration, although the river was close by with some nice walks through the forest. Our “executive” (not sure why) double room had a large balcony with rattan chairs and stairs leading down to a pretty garden (shame about the busy road immediately beyond). The room was very well-equipped with a fridge, microwave, kettle, toaster and all the rest, including a barbecue in the communal courtyard which the rooms surround. The crockery was unmatched, as was the cutlery that came in a broken plastic basket. The mugs had rings and stains that we couldn’t scrub off. The curtains were grubby at hand level. The bathroom was a strange mix of ancient and modern. The basin, cupboard underneath and surround and toilet looked clean and modern, but the shower cubicle was aged, had small areas of rust/grime and could do with at the very least resealing fully around the tray. The floor tiles undulated slightly all over and although surface-clean had patches of ground-in grime. The extractor fan rattled noisily. The bed was comfy and the air conditioning easy to operate and effective.

Nice room in rustic setting overlooking the river, right in town but quieter end of Main Street. Very comfortable bed and large balcony. Good value in a very popular town. Great base to explore the area. Friendly helpful staff. Great short stay..

Wonderful apartment with everything you need with the added bonus of having an outdoor area with a communal bbq. It was a wonderful relaxing stay - walking distance to all cafes, restaurants and shops in town with the benefit of being very quiet - and that was at the weekend! To top it all off, I managed to leave my kindle behind and the kind staff phoned me to let me know and helped with the courier arrangements to get it back to me. Top notch service.

One of the only places in the area that offer one-night accommodation which is what I needed. The accommodation is set within neat and lovely looking gardens straight off the highway. The location is great you can walk right into the township for dinner, shopping etc. Rooms were neat and clean but rather basic and dated, and it appears the rooms all face onto a communal courtyard where you can hear people coming and going, chatting etc. Be warned since you are near the highway it can get loud with traffic during the day.

Location was very good, the Main Street at your doorstep, great access to restaurants. The room we had was number 4, which had a small room with two bunks off the main. Thankful for that tiny room as we could put out luggage in there, as there was no space in the main room. The room itself was cramped and the small kitchen, not user friendly at all. All the usual amenities were provided. Bed comfort was good. Reception staff were very helpful and friendly.

Stayed for 1 night in March 2022. In a great location, near the river and walking distance to main street shops, cafes, restaurants. We stayed in Room 12, a very old, quirky unit that could do with a freshen up. Small lounge/kitchen area, tiny bathroom and a good sized bedroom area with a double and single bed. Private balcony. Shower cubicle is very worn out and could do with replacing. Good water pressure and plenty of hot water. Linen and towels all nice and clean. Friendly reception. Unit 12 is located on the corner of the main street so we found road noise a particular problem and didn't sleep well. If I stayed again, I would ask for a room away from the main road. Was going to rate 4 out of 5 but the road noise brought the score down.
