We booked one of the villas . Heaps of room for all . Little old in places but over all very good .
The Margaret river resort is a short walk into town if you enjoy a bit of exercise. The Rivers is attached to the complex that serves great food and and good music on weekends in the beer garden .
Garden areas nice and green and peaceful.
You can also exit the property from the back road too .
The only gripe would be the amount of dust in our room .
Aircon filters blocked solid with dust, window slat covered . When we sat down a cloud of dust arose . The cleaning staff need to address this , many sneezes during our stay due to my wife is allergic too dust .

The apartments are very clean although need a little updating. We are agile pensioners however we found it was quite difficult getting in and out of the bath to shower. The rooms are very well equiped however we had no safe and would not of wanted to leave valuables in the room. The area around the resort is quiet and there is easy access to the beach. We were pleased that the resort had its own bistro with live music on the Saturday and Sunday evening which was enjoyable.

Stayed for a few days. Quite comfortable, room was clean.
We stayed in a spa room at the back, so very little noise.
Downside was a tank blew, and we lost hot water for a full day. No real problem, restored by next morning, but the feedback wasn't great, so we chased up the plumber. No hot water not the best in a spa room :)
Pushed for somewhere to shower, and di so in the pool area, but a bit open.
No real feedback from Management, but overall a nice place to stay, and we would return.

We stayed four nights in a one-bedroom spa suite with kitchenette. Everything about the suite was great; it was clean, spacious and comfortable. The bed was very comfy and we made good use of the spa bath and the kitchenette. The location was great. It was close enough to walk to the main street, but far enough away to guarantee some peace and quiet. Our suite was located at the back (near the Tunbridge Street side) and we couldn't hear any noise from the onsite pub. Check in and check out was a breeze. At just under $720 for four nights, it was great value for money.

We booked two Queen rooms for the weekend and the blaring music from the restaurant/pub is simply unbearable. Note that this was NEVER mentioned in the booking process. Not on the website, the room description OR during check-in. Friday night it was heavy metal music, Saturday night was like a Rave club until midnight. We are not light sleepers by any stretch but believe me, you WILL NOT be able to sleep before midnight! We ended up checking out a day early because we could not bear another night of crazy loud music.

Other than the music, we found the room was decent and clean and the staff relatively friendly. The hotel is about 0.5 miles from the main street..so it is alright but not great.

I booked a disability accessible room. However it wasn’t disability accessible. There was no ACROD parking, with a step up the gutter from the car spaces to the footpath. The main door didn’t open fully so my wheel chair had to stay outside the room to be charged and the bathroom door didn’t open fully as the towel rails were placed right behind it. The toilet seat was broken and constantly moved. The bathroom was designed to be disability accessible but none of it actually was. Wouldn’t recommend it.

Do not stay here unless you want to sleep inside a reverberating, thumping beer garden. The noise was loud from the time we checked in at 2pm until 10pm with revelers making noise until much later. After the band finished, we contended with revelers skylarking, tooting horns and their head lights as they left the complex.

This hotel is not suitable for families with children. The walls shook and vibrated and not in a good AC/DC way.

It is not fair to charge $378 a night (2 Adults, 1 Child) in exchange for a thumping headache. This place needs to decide if it is either a pub or a place where people can sleep. The beer garden noise was not divulged on booking or website. It was not until we received confirmation the day before our stay were we made aware of the pub noise.

There are 3 different names for complex, so it is hard to ascertain what you are in for.

Broken power points, saucepans with handles barely hanging on, soft beds that needed to go to the tip 10 years ago, blinds that were broken and a towel rail fell off the wall. Broken fridge shelf- wine bottle fell to the floor. Soap holder so loose the soap kept falling to the floor.

Yes, it is a big unit which has a kitchen and washing machine. But give it a miss and find somewhere better maintained and where you can actually sleep.

I booked a 1 bedroom spa apartment which is down the back of the complex. All I could hear were birds, the spa bath and nothing else.
There are some rooms above the pub so if you book these and are surprised by the noise you haven’t done your research.
The rooms are not modern by any stretch but this is detailed in the description too, so if you complain about that you really should learn to read or just stay home. The rooms are dated but mine was immaculately clean and well equipped.
There is plenty of parking, the pub/restaurant on the grounds is one of the best in town, and the staff are all friendly and full of energy.
I stayed mid week in winter so it was a good price, but I’m looking forward to staying a weekend in summer when the place is buzzing.

Thank you for the 3 days we just spent at your resort. Was a great way to celebrate an early wedding anniversary. Just nice to go away for a few days because it’s been a strange year. Spending a few days south and indulging in all the Cape to Cape region has to offer was much needed. Your spa suites are comfortable, clean and spacious. Very good value for money at $430 for 3 nights you can’t beat that. We will be back. It was a shame You Am I and Tex Perkins had to cancel on Friday and Sunday nights. Unfortunately circumstances beyond anyone’s control. Such a great venue for live music and listening to Martin Lee Cropper was a treat, abs a nice way to round off a great weekend. Thanks once again and your staff are great😀

Not awful, but not great either. Stayed 2 nights with a booking via the Booking dot com website. Payment was taken from my credit card 2 days prior to arrival and then the report sends you an email with instructions for checking in and advising that due to “staff shortages” no servicing of the rooms will take place for less than a 7 night stay. Disappointing- perhaps there needs to be a discount if the rooms are really just a self serve Air BNB. The bar and restaurant were fine but expensive ($42 for a steak).
