Wonderful Stay in the Margaret River. This is a beautiful 5 star property set in a magical garden. The service was exceptional. When we asked if the outside hallway light could be turned down overnight the manager organised for the electrician to visit that day - problem fixed. They have a brand new washer and dryer on premises which I used - the lovely concierge on the front desk put my washing in the dryer while I was out visiting wineries. No request was too much trouble. Breakfast was delicious- our omelettes were 2 of the best we’ve had in a long time. They offer free tea, coffee, hot chocolate and home cake every afternoon- it’s a great way to recover from too many wine tastings. Hopefully we will visit the Margaret river again and when we do we will be staying at Basildene manor.

My sister and I recently stayed a night in Basildene and had a welcoming, beautiful experience! Greeted by the friendly Becky at reception check in was easy and unique with a telling of the history of the stunning manor. The bedroom was quaintly decorated and the bed and pillows decently comfortable with a great view of the beautifully manicured gardens! Being so close to Margaret River town we drove so easily to our dinner at Morries that night (also amazing thanks to the little discount from Basildene’s association with the restaurant). Breakfast the next day was speedy, fresh and delicious! We had the full breakfast, myself the eggs Benedict with perfectly soft poached eggs and my sister the omelette with all the fillings. We took advantage of the serene pool in the sunshine and checked out easily with the friendly Becky once again. Absolutely loved our night at Basildene, will be back and 100% recommend to anyone looking for a classy, peaceful getaway!

We visit Basildene regularly and it's truly like having our own country Manor. The staff are always welcoming and warm, making us feel comfortable. This time we met Becky, who was very attentive to ensure we had everything we needed. For our self catered dinners in the Conservatory, Becky set the table beautifully, complete with ice bucket serving plates and bowls. Mood lighting. And her smile!!

Dear Rhonwen G, We always love welcoming you back to your country Manor and love that you feel this way! Thank you for the lovely review of your most recent visit home to Basildene. Your feedback of our BBQ lighting was so welcomed and I'm pleased to let you know there is now additional lighting directly over the hotplates. Becky is fantastic and yes, what a smile! Looking forward to welcoming you back to your newly refurbished country Manor after June 16th 2023. Warmest regards, Daniela and the Team@Basildene

Four friends on holiday from Queensland, we have just had an amazing week at Basildene. This beautiful old heritage house is extremely well set up for guests, with spacious, clean suites. The Conservatory was a beautiful glass enclosed room available for breakfast (continental or full cooked at reasonable cost) and afternoon tea (complementary) and guest use later in the day. We spent many happy hours there. A guest laundry is complimentary as is tea and coffee (coffee machine not instant). The staff could not do enough for us and no request was a problem, even a basket filled with all the utensils, cutlery, crockery and condiments we needed for the on site bar-b-cue. The grounds are gorgeous and each room has a verandah looking out over the gardens.

The atmosphere, decor and attention to detail was wonderful. The house is immaculate and shrouded in leafy green trees and gardens. Secluded benches hidden in amongst the garden pathways invite tranquility and rest. My room was luxurious and I loved the view down into the front gardens. I was always greeted warmly and the hospitality was excellent. Breakfast in the conservatory was delicious and we loved the afternoon tea of coffee and cake. I especially loved the photos and history of the house on display as it added to the sense of history and a full rich past. Would highly recommend especially if you are looking for a quiet escape. I will look forward to my next stay!

The perfect place to put down the electronics and 'Smell the Roses' and gardenias in the beautifully manicured garden from yester year. Modern facilities with a touch of history. All staff, including cleaning and horticulture, were friendly and reflected an enjoyment in guest welfare and enjoyment of the experience within the manor. Breakfast was lovely, and a range of on-site experiences are available, from swimming, BBQ's or quiet games. The one regret, we were only overnight and couldn't experience all the Manor had to offer fully! Thank you for the delicious scones. What a treat. 🙏

We stayed for 3 nights in November. Can't express enough the exceptional staff, their helpfulness, kindness and superb customer service. The building was amazing, full of history and pictures telling the story of the family that built and lived here.
Breakfast was outstanding and again nothing was too much trouble. The gardens which are overlooked in the conservatory are very tranquil and well maintained which also houses the outdoor heated pool, tennis courts and BBQ area.
The rooms are well maintained and suited our needs with tea and coffee making facilities, a small fridge with complimentary water, a safe and iron. We were on the ground floor and had a court yard garden.
In the evening the fireplaces are put on in the reading rooms where you can relax with a coffee.
We felt very valued and would definitely would recommend and return.

This is probably my 5th visit to Basildene over the last 20 years. The building and gardens were lovely as always, but special mention needs to be made this time about the exceptional service from the current Basildene team.
Thank you Becky, Daniela x 2, Maike, and the rest of the team made my initial stay and extra extension so enjoyable. All other non contact staff such as cooks and cleaners were also very friendly and helpful, even in passing. Special thank you to Becky, probably one of the most helpful, charming and friendly hotel reception/concierge i've ever met. Looking forward to my next stay at Basildene when i come back to Margaret River

Best accommodation in the Margaret River Region. Danielle the GM and her Team are outstanding! Danielle, Ben and Viv on Reception are charming, helpful and in tune with the best places to visit in the Region. Rosa the Gardener is a classic and what a story teller! Beware the climbing Wisteria! Breakfast is worth getting up early for and then walk it off in the pristine gardens that surround the property. You will not need lunch and if you are feeling a tad peckish before dinner then home made cake is served in the Conservatory every afternoon. If we could rate this property higher we would have. Cheers. Damien and Marianne

Hi Tihana - Trip Advisor have forwarded this question to me - however you would have to contact Basildene Manor direct who will be able to answer your question on accommodation availability. Good luck!
Sorry, i‘m Not shure about that. But I think there are enough rooms and the Place is Very Romantic. But May be the Kitchen doesen‘t Serve for Dinner. Best if You get Information directly from the Management.
There are more places to choose from in the Margaret River area.
