Detailed Reviews
We just loved our stay!! It was our first time at Riverview and were so surprised when we walked in to find how modern the room was and we’ll equipped everything was. From the big towels, TVs in both sleeping areas and dining areas outside it feels like everything is thought of. The heating was even left on ready for our later arrival on a cold night. The location was great to, we enjoyed walking into the town a few times during our stay. Can’t wait to come back again.

We stayed for a week in a cabin in the middle of July with a 2 year old and it was FANTASTIC!
Upon arrive we were greeted by Donna who was so warm and welcoming. When we got to our cabin we found it pristine clean and with a highchair like we had requested.
Proper mattresses in both the king and queen bedrooms, with proper quilts and electric blankets, so we slept well and warm. The kitchen was decked out with all the utensils etc that we required as well.
The area was so peaceful and quiet and we were able to feed the birds just outside our front door. It was a really wonderful family holiday thanks to great accommodation!

This place is situated right on the river and very close to Barrett Weir which is walking distance. We stayed in a 2 Bedroom chalet with 2 kids. It was everything we needed but the bathroom was a little tight with 4 people. Place was clean and tidy and very close to town. Beds were ok but take your own pillow as theirs are terrible. Staff are very friendly.

Thank you Janine for leaving us a review. We are pleased you enjoyed your stay with us, and do hope that you come again. Our holiday accommodation is designed for holidays makers and bathrooms in this type of accommodation is never as big as a normal household bathroom. We do have larger accommodation available, a three bedroom chalet might be an option next time :)

We stayed here in a river view cabin on a recent trip down south.
Gardens are well kept and staff were very polite and helpful.
The cabin was clean and the view from the balcony was fantastic. The balcony overlooked the river, a large grassed area along side a pavilion with a bbq and tables and bushland on the other side of the river. Extremely quiet, peaceful and relaxing. There’s quite a lot of bird life around and every day we were visited by the ducks, ring neck parrots and a very friendly kookaburra. You can get wild bird seed from the office and hand feed the parrots and ducks.
The cabin has everything you need but as is usual now, no oven. Stove hob is electric which is a bit slow to heat up but works really well once it’s hot. Tea, sugar, salt and decent coffee is supplied. All the kitchen stuff that you’d need is there. Water is hot and has decent pressure. Beds and pillows are comfortable. Plenty of towels. The bathroom has a long towel rail but would benefit from a couple hooks for clothes when showering.
There is a DVD player and dvd’s are available from the office. Books are available too if you fancy a read.
There are canoes for hire if you would like a paddle in the river and there are lots of great walking/cycling tracks right at your door. Lovely river scenery in the form of 2 weir’s are within a few minutes walk. Town shops, cafes and a Woolworths are 10-15 minute walk or just a couple of minutes in the car.
If you have kids we did note that there was no playground area. As we travelled as a couple this was probably a plus as it was much quieter.
This is a great place to stay. Wish we could have stayed longer. Make sure you spend a bit more and get one of the river view cabins though as they are definitely well worth it.

Hi Busygirl99, Thank you for taking the time to leave such a detailed review. We are glad that you enjoyed your time in the park and the surrounding area. We love the birds and the bush across the river too! Thank you for the feedback regarding hooks in the bathroom, it is a great suggestion and something we are looking to add in the cabins as we continually upgrade and improve the chalets. Thank you again for your review, we have passed your comments on to the team. We look forward to welcoming you back in the future! Kind regards, Riverview Tourist Park Team

We stayed here in a one bedroom chalet for a long weekend. It was comfortable and super clean and very reasonably priced. It’s in a quiet part of Margaret River but close enough to walk into town and easily access walk/cycle trails and the river. Management were friendly and communication before we arrived was spot on. We will be back!

My family and I stayed here at Riverview for just over two weeks and what a fantastic and peaceful holiday park to make ones base so as to explore the surrounding areas of Margaret River. On arrival we had a lovely warm welcome from Steph in the Park office and nothing was to much trouble while she explained the layout of the Park and the accommodation. The family cabins are excellent and fully equipped with everything one needs and a nice area outside to sit and watch the sun come up with a cup of tea, and convenient parking next to the Cabin. My Grandchildren enjoyed feeding the local Parrots and the ducks with seed available from the Office, another nice touch are the Kayaks to hire for a pleasant paddle on the Margaret River. Also near the river is a Barbeque area with plenty of seating, this Park have thought about everything, the Margaret river is also very safe to swim in which my grandchildren loved to do especially jumping off the bridge a few yards upstream, nice woodland walks into town are yards away and anyone into playing Boules have a special Boules area to play on. The Park and grounds overall are kept to a pristine standard of cleanliness and maintenance by Olly and the team along with the staff servicing the cabins. I cannot recommend Riverview highly enough for a long or short stay.

We stayed for 4 nights in what they call a room but it was actually a detached cabin with fridge,4 burner stove, microwave ,tv and cooking gear and everything you need. The location is great and the walk to town along the river is excellent. The parrots are awesome. They love biscuits and perch on your shoulders, hands even your head! We can’t wait to return. It has given us a whole new insight into Margaret River.

During our stay at Riverview tourist park we noticed our chalet had ant's crawling around the kitchen and sitting room floors and on the kitchen table.
The bedrooms and the bathroom where clean apart from the kitchen and living room area.
There was crumbs on the sofa that hadn't been cleaned.
I liked however that the beds where comfy and that they had towels and a fully equipped kitchen.

We've stayed in their very comfortable, clean and well appointed chalets a number of times and will return again. Various friends have joined us in the 2 room river front chalets and have loved the quiet, peaceful views. The grounds are very well kept and it's good to be able to walk into town to eat out in the evening. Highly recommended.

From the moment we arrived in this beautiful setting, check in was efficient and we were soon allocated our chalet. This was very well appointed and I was very pleasantly surprised to see such modern kitchen units and in fact throughout the whole chalet too. Simple but very clean, most important to us.
The shower was actually more efficient than my own at home! The beds were a little firm but that’s really my only criticism.
Very well placed to visit the town without being too close. I wish we could have had longer here, highly recommended. Well done Riverview.
