My self and my partner had the most relaxing and wonderful time celebrating our two year anniversary at this beautiful location. Andrew, Jules and family are so welcoming, kind and helpful with anything needed, from something simple to recommending lovely little coffee and food spots minutes away from the cosy little cottages you stay in. Jules is a very talented women herself with amazing photography skills that will leave you breathless as her work is dotted throughout the cosy cottages of the beautiful spots around the Margaret river area, and I highly recommended booking a session with her in their stunning location as the bushland makes for a wonderful backdrop to get all cosy with the family, or for those wanting to ask a very special question, as what happen to myself. Both Jules and Andrew made sure it was an experience or should I say a proposal to remember... All over it was a beautiful time away and we were very sad to be returning home but we cannot wait to return to this beautiful location, and see all the seasons and the beautiful animals too.

Long time browser first time poster. Never have I felt compelled and driven enough by anywhere I have stayed to make the effort to write a review. From the moment you step onto the property Andrew and his family make the utmost effort to make you feel welcome and give you the type of holiday that you need. This place is suited to any type of guest. If you are a couple looking for a beautiful property to stay at where you can relax with a cheese board and a beautiful glass to put your wine in at the end of the day of cruising the surroundings then this is the place. You will look over beautiful paddocks listen to the animals and birds, go on bush walks, light a fire and relax. If you are a family travelling with your brood then this is just the place for you. The animal feeding tractor rides and playground are EXCATLY what the parent needs. There are amazing cabins that look straight onto the playground so you can sit and relax whilst the children play. Every morning Andrew and his children will help you feed their animals and then take you on a wonderful tractor ride (which is SUCH a hit). They will also join you for a glass of wine around the fire pit and toast the marshmellows that they leave for you in your cabin. The cabins are perfect. They are fitted with a FULL KITCHEN... yes a gas stove, oven, microwave, sink, fridge, nespresso machine and absolutely everything that you would need in between. Our three year old boy adored every part of holiday, Jules and Andrews' adorable children kept him in great company. As a family, we went on bush walks out of the property into the surrounds and it is only a 3 min drive into Margaret River but you feel like you are out in nature. It is all in the little touches, like the book they left by the bed for my three year old, or the easter egg they left for us that was devoured in minutes (we stayed over easter). Or the Easter Egg Hunt that they put on for the all the children (about 20) on the Sunday morning. The welcomes and goodbyes and conversations and recommendations of local knowledge. They absolutely nailed it. If I could I would give this place more than 10 out of 10.

From booking our stay (and even after we came home) the service provided by Drew has been second to none. We stayed for a week, and had no complaints, but only compliments. I found the information booklet and the messages leading upto our stay very helpful.. The facilities were ideally suited to our young family aged 5 and 7 who loved playing in the cubby house and mud kitchen. There is a well-stocked DVD library in the pool area and a indoor pool which was brilliant. The location was great and is peaceful, the daily feeding time and buggy rides were eagerly anticipated by our children. The cabin was clean and tody as are the sitewide facilities, every day they are cleaned and tidied up. The location is perfect and has quick access to caves road. We enjoyed the fresh woodfired bread, which is just down the road. Each loaf didn’t last long. We will come and stay again, it was a fantastic break

We stayed here recently in a 2 bedroom brick cottage (family of 4 with kids aged 3 and 5) and it was absolutely incredible. Jules and Andrew have created an amazing and unique experience for their guests. MR Holiday Cottages encourages quality time for the kids and parents alike. Plenty of hands on interactions with a range of animals, a playground and fire pit area that encourages socialization of the kids and adults, Max's Movies and truck rides after animal feeding every morning..... our kids wanted to spend more time here than at any of the other places we visited whilst in the SW. The rooms have been renovated and are comfortable with all required modern amenities. Andrew is a genuinely great bloke that takes the time to ensure the guests get the most out of the stay and feel at home on their property. We cannot wait to visit again!

We booked directly with Margaret river holiday cottages and Andrew was helpful right from the get go. He recommended we stay in cottage 4, we have three children aged 7, 5 and six months old. Cottage four had great views to the play area which is where the children spent most of their time, in amongst feeding the animals in the morning, making new friends and playing in the indoor heated pool area. Andrew and Jules put on a communal barbecue on New Year’s Eve which was really lovely, and the outdoor movies were a big hit with our children. The cottage itself was pretty basic, but it had the essentials including a working kitchen, coffee machine, TV and washing machine. We stayed in the summer so it was a nice temperature, however there were a few bugs and spiders floating around as you'd expect. Thank you so much Andrew and Jules for being such great hosts, I’m sure Julia will be pestering us to see Jonah and Max very soon again.
