The family had a fab four days here at Hideway. Andrew & Hanisi and are very welcoming, very friendly and very hands-on. This is the best farm stay we have been to. The kids had a blast feeding the animals. And as the animals roam around and about the properties we even had some unusual fielders join our game of...

We are so pleased your family enjoyed your stay with us at Margaret River Hideaway. Our guests often comment on how nice it is to see the animals roaming freely around the property and it certainly does give the place a wonderful ambience. Having this beautiful rural setting so close to the Margaret River town site and the many activities,...

Big thanks to Hanisi & Andrew for their pleasant retreat from the usual city hotels that we choose. Stayed here with our 2 daughters for 2 nights just after Xmas. Great fun feeding the animals in the morning - a truly hands on experience. We even got eggs freshly laid for brekky. Will stay again if we visit Margaret River...

We are delighted that you enjoyed your stay. It is always pleasing to hear that the kids found the hands-on experience so much fun. Our farm animals seem to love having kids around. Our small complimentary offering for the first morning breakfast and the local wine is a treat many of our guests don't expect but really appreciate. We are...

Margaret River Hideaway was the perfect retreat away from our usual frenetic life. Our two boys loved the location, adored the animals and enjoyed the freedom associated with the farm. Andrew and Hanisi are a true asset and went out of their way to welcome us and treat the boys as true members of their extended farm family.

Thank you Julie for your very kind comments, particularly in relation to Hanisi & Andrew who took over as managers in December. Since assuming responsibility, they've worked diligently to improve aspects of the property, the cottages and the experience. Andrew & Hanisi are committed tourism professionals and I'm fully expecting that the quality of our product will be lifted as...

It was our first farmstay. The experience was memorable especially for our 7 year and 2 year old whom did not have much exposure to farm animals. It also left good memories in both my husband and myself, The 2 bed room apartment was well equipped and very clean. I wished we stayed longer. It was amazing waking up in...

We are a family of 2 seniors, 2 adults and 3 kids who have enjoyed ourselves thoroughly during our farmstay. We have been to a number of farmstays and this is the only one with animals roaming freely around the farm. We went out for dinner on our 1st night and came back with a pleasant surprise visit by more...

Spent 4 nights at Hideaways w my 3 kids and Wife. We spent 3 nights on the farm. The location was a great base to explore the Margaret River region with most places and vineyard less than 45 mins drive out. The compound is serene and invokes a sense of being back to nature, and yet it is very close to the convenience of modern living with MR town centre less...

Many thanks for your kind comments, particularly as regards Andrew who, with Hunni in support, took over the management role at the beginning of December. They and Dean (our young farm hand) are busy improving the farm experience, so that we can provide our guests with an even better experience. I understand that there are already a number of new...

We visit Margaret River Farmstay regularly as it provides the perfect getaway for couples with a dog. There is nothing to want for - everything is provided and it is fabulous to be able to walk amongst the trees and the animals with such freedom. It is convenient without being in the centre of the busy tourist town. The staff...

Thank you soooo much Toni. It's great to hear of such enthusiasm for our collective efforts. We stayed 2 nights at the farm. It was fantastic for our girls (age 3 and 5) to experience the animals roaming around and to have the opportunity to feed the lambs, alpacas, emus, chickens and cows. Thank you Claire. We've owned the property for 8 years and have more than doubled the accommodation whilst retaining the same average occupancy. To my way of thinking, this is an indication that people who live in cities have an increasing wish to reconnect with the country. We don't farm in the true sense, keeping most of our animals until...
