Margaret River farm stay is a wonderful place for the family to enjoy farm life. We had a great stay the kids loved animal feeding and the playgrounds scattered around the farm. The cabins were clean modern and comfortable with the magic of a fireplace. The kids enjoyed the firepit of an evening sitting around toasting marshmallows and making damper. Kim and here team are great with the kids and adults alike and share their knowledge of the area. We love the ittle touches ike the breaky hamper for the first morning and the animals just roaming around. Hope to return soon.

This is the second time for me at the hideaway, but this time I took my daughter, granddaughter and my fur baby’s. Ellie loved feeding all the animals, specially the emus. She wants to come back in June/July to see all the baby emus. The studio was clean and well equipped. Kim made us feel really welcomed.I definitely recommend the hideaway for a short or long stay. I will definitely be back again.

By far the best place we have stayed at in the south west. Kim was a wonderful host, very friendly and accommodating and the cottage and surrounds were so amazing we did not want to leave. Our 18 month old particularly loved the property, with so many animals and playgrounds to keep her entertained. The sheep were by far her favourite and they were so friendly and gentle as she constantly pat them and tried to feed them hay! We really loved feeding the animals and Kim was great, patiently taking us around and showing the kids how to get eggs from the chickens. It was a definite highlight of the stay. Looking forward to returning again, can't think of anywhere else we would prefer to stay in Margaret River. A secluded piece of paradise though still close to town. Also really close to Colonial brewery which is also great for kids.

We booked Margaret River hideaway and Farmstay for a long weekend getaway with our 2 children. The first thing that really was impressive about the farmstay was its location. Less than 10 minutes drive to the townsite of Margaret river and close to lots of different attractions made it ideal for a long weekend escape from the city. Once arriving, we were immediately impressed with the friendly checkin from the manager Kim and the spectacular scenery around the Farmstay. We stayed in the Superior 2 bedroom cottage which is really a stand - alone house with a carport, alfresco and family, dining and kitchen and everything you would get from your own 2x1 house which is amazing. The house was very nicely presented and overlooked a forest area with trees and was a really relaxing. In the mornings, the manager Kim took us and the children around to feed all the animals around the Farmstay. This was a highlight for our kids as they loved being hands on and feeding the chickens, alpacas, sheep and all the animals. Kim was really kind with the children and helped them with feeding and how to pat and care for the different animals. There were even some baby chickens which our kids loved. The Farmstay also has many different playgrounds for children to play on including a big timber treehouse, a number of cubby houses, trampolines and sandpits which kept our kids entertained for hours which was fantastic. I honestly can’t think of one thing that I didn’t like about our time at the Farmstay, as it was a fantastic place to stay. My only regret was that we weren’t able to stay for longer. We will be returning very soon and hope to have a much longer holiday next time.

We loved our recent stay at Margaret River Hideaway, a perfect holiday destination for families! Our little one loved the playgrounds, being able to get up close and feed the animals and her special ride in the wheelbarrow thanks to farmer John! Kim is an amazing host and went above and beyond to ensure our stay was nothing short of fantastic, even including breakfast supplies like milk, cereal & eggs for our first morning! We can’t wait for our visit! 🐥🐄🦙🦘
