Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

The views across to the ocean are breathtaking! We saw pods of whales at sunset on our first night; wonderful native flowers, bees and native birds. Highly recommend these units for a truly relaxing experience!

The place is well maintained, and very warming. Blinds are a nuisance the stuck a lot and difficult to operate., It has washing machine but not a dryer. The AC is only located in the main area so the rooms get very little benefit from it.

Without a doubt, the BEST place I have ever stayed at "down south". The location is perfect. The ammenities are all there. Secluded. Private. Beautiful. Perfect for couples or a group of friends. More of a "leave the kids at home" place to stay.

There is nothing negative about this place. We are lucky the owners are willing to share this location. The view is sublime. It is far enough away to feel secluded but not alone. The amenities are great. Everything you could ask for. Especially the sound of the ocean at night. Do yourselves a favour.

We had great communication from the owners on check in and out. Villa was 10/10. We had a villa at the back with the least amount of beach views and were still blown away by the beautiful views. Property itself is gorgeous and we were impressed by the efforts made by the owner for guests- eg rainwater for drinking, tea and coffee, games and dvds ect. House is beautiful inside and cute little patio with all birds and rabbits hopping around made our mornings there so special! Will definitely be back!

These “Villas/chatels” are located in an isolated area with distant sea views. The interior and furnishings are a little dated, but nevertheless serviceable. We found the beds to be comfortable and the total peace and quiet means a good night’s sleep. If you enjoy star gazing, the lack of any light pollution means it is a perfect location. During hot weather, we found the single air con unit could not keep the glass fronted open lounge area cool, even with the blinds closed. There is no air con in the bedrooms. Perhaps if there is a sea breeze it would be possible to get a through flow of air by opening the doors and windows fitted with fly screens. Whilst remote, you have basic supplies available 5 minutes away and all your needs in Margaret River, 15 minutes away. While staying here you must walk or drive down to Redgate Beach to view the stunning coastline and use the inviting natural bathing pools. Do however heed the advice on the signs regarding dangerous bathing areas, including the warning, “Lives have been lost”. For a totally relaxing stay, Redgate Beach Escape is a tempting option.

Our chalet was totally private with amazing views across the bush to the sea. Redgate Beach is a stunning surf beach just a few minutes drive away. The Cape to Cape walk also passes through the beach so it is easy to walk for an hour or 3 whatever takes your fancy. The chalet kitchen was very well equipped should you want to self-cater with the bonus of a dishwasher and washing machine for convenience. It was spotlessly clean, quiet and a great place to enjoy some r & r.

While it is "way out of the way" this place is so quiet you can hear absolutely nothing! There are 180 degree views of the ocean and the only thing between you and the sea is an expanse of low native scrub. The "chalet" (damned if I know why in Western Australia cabins are called chalets) is clean and modern. A coffee machine would be a big improvement but apart from that it is fully equipped. There are two bedrooms, open plan lounge dining kitchen, and a laundry and bathroom. One of the bedrooms has its own aircon and there is separate air conditioning in the living area. Margaret River is ten minutes away. If you are looking for somewhere to write a book, this is the place!

The name of the chalet say for itself. (ie. is a escape chalet).. The place seems to remote as it was surrounded with lots of greenly field and sea beach. However it is just 15 minutes drive from Margaret River Town. The whole place is so peaceful. By just staying in this chalet alone is good enough for a peaceful relax holiday (without even considering going out). When we were there, there a cold front and temperature fall to below 5 degree in middle of night. However with the bed and blanket, I don't feel anything that is cold. Will definitely back if I have the chance.
