Vintages Accommodation comes highly recommended for its excellent service, with staff often celebrated for their helpfulness and efficiency. While opinions on value diverge, the hotel's pristine cleanliness and prime location near the town center win over many guests. An inviting atmosphere is created through cozy furnishings and serene gardens, enhancing the stay. Room quality generally satisfies visitors, though some suggest minor improvements. The amenities, while adequate, have prompted a few calls for enhancements.

We stayed at Vintages for 2 nights in August. The hotel's location is just perfect; quiet street but 2 minute walk to the main street of Margaret River. Our room was spacious, spotlessly clean, large bathroom (with a fabulous shower) and a gorgeous little courtyard with seating . Vintages supplied a small jug of fresh milk which was replenished daily which was much appreciated. There was minimum noise from neighbouring rooms and although the parking area for all the rooms was nearby, there was no noise from here either. Our only minor complaints would be that the kingsize bed was a bit too firm for us and the little fridge in the room was noisy (we turned it off on the second night :) ) but otherwise we would definately stay here again.

My friend and I went down to Margaret River for a girls get away for a couple of days this place was recommended to me after reading the reviews decided to try.

The location is really centrally situated just behind the main St and can walk to all the restaurants and shops.

Only a small complex we had a two bedroom villa had everything we needed including a small kitchen and a private courtyard.

I normally like boutique type accommodation and this is not that but the rooms were spotless and was perfect for what we needed.

The owners Shaun and his partner were delightful and would certainly stay again next time I go on a girls getaway.

The best location for access to all town facilities by walking yet very very quiet. An easy stroll to shops and restaurants and laundrette nearby too. Nice bathroom and easy parking right outside. Excellent wifi and internet and a very friendly manager.

This single storey motel complex is in a very convenient location to the shops (Woolworths less than 100 metres away) and the main retail and cafe/restaurant areas (less than a five minute walk down a gently sloping hill to the Bussell Highway which runs through the middle of the Margaret River township). There is also a self-service laundromat before you reach Woolworths.

We stayed for five nights in a Queen Twin Triple Studio (Room 3). The room was furnished with a queen sized bed (very comfortable) and a single bed. There was a small bedside table with a reading lamp on either side of the queen sized bed and a small round table with two chairs. The room was quiet apart from other guests returning late walking past our window. We did not hear any traffic from the road outside.

The described kitchenette? consisted of a mini bar fridge with a small preparation area above it, a microwave, a kettle, a toaster and some plates, glasses and crockery. There was no kitchen sink so we used the sink in the bathroom. We noted there were sinks and larger kitchen areas in a couple of the other units.

The bathroom was fairly large with a good sized vanity with room to store toiletries and a large shower (pressure was good).

Apart from the kitchenette the other major issues were a) that the room was permanently dark requiring us to keep the lights on when we there and the blinds on the single window facing a covered outside walkway partially closed for privacy reasons and, b) you could not open either of the two windows on the other side of the room to let in some fresh air as the catches on both were broken. We obtained a clothes rack to hang out our swimmers and towels but they didn't dry inside our room.

There was a free parking area outside. There were also two garden chairs attached to a small table outside our room and a larger table and benches nearby for the use of all the guests.

We were sent an email with a code to obtain the key from the key lock and a separate email with the WIFI password. We needed our phone light to enter the code to the key lock as it was in a dark place near the door. The WIFI worked well.

Room was very clean and serviced daily with used plates etc replaced.

There was a bottle of red wine and a small package of chocolates as a welcome gift when we arrived which was appreciated.

Thank you for your review, could i recommend you look up the meaning of Kithenette. For the record you broke both the window catches because you didnt know how to use them - very frustrating to read this review. You could of booked a unit with all the facilities you needed but you chose the less expensive option !!

Do not stay here !!! The owner is extremely rude and greedy. The room smells, has dust and it is overpriced. I made a booking to stay for 4 nights but left after the first night. Although the room looks clean, the room smells, the A/C in the room is noisy and there is dust in the air which I could not sleep all night. The next morning I went to the reception and mentioned I wanted to leave and asked for partial refund for the remaining nights as my accomodation was fully paid. I’ve been told the owner was away in a meeting and the receptionist couldn’t help. He soon contacted me on my mobile in a very rude and aggressive way to the point he hang up on me. He used the road work as an excuse not to give my money back although I was very clear when I said the reason why I wanted to leave is because the room smells and there is dust in the air, this is the reason why I didn’t sleep all night apart from feeling very uncomfortable in the room but he was not a decent person to understand that. It was clear to me he only wanted to keep the money no matter what.
I didn’t want to give him a bad review as I didn’t think it would be necessary but he didn’t care, he said to me to do what i have to do, so here I am. Booking.com also sent him an email asking to waive the cancellation fee but he declined the request and texted me by 4.30pm saying he could not be responsible for the road work happening down the road of his hotel and he was not going to refund my money. It was not negotiable. He is very greedy and only mentioned about the road work as an excuse to not refund my money as I was very clear telling him and to the receptionist about the issue I had with the room. I showed her how tired I was because I didn’t sleep that night.
I replied to his text message explaining again about the issue in the room and asking him to be fair. I was not asking for full refund. I was happy to pay for the first 2 nights although I only stayed for 1 night and get the refund for the last 2 nights. I though it would be fair to both of us. If I continue staying in his accomodation I wouldn’t be able to sleep and this was supposed to be a nice holiday for me and my husband. He never replied to my message.
It is clear to me the owner doesn’t care about customers and has no customer service skills considering he hang up on me and had no sympathy to solve the issue. The accomodation is very basic and expensive for what it offer.
Go and spend your money elsewhere, there are lots of nice hotels around town who will appreciate your business, besides they will treat you well and in a way you deserve when on holidays.

We stayed at Vintages over the September long weekend and found the accommodation to be clean, modern, comfortable, well equipped and centrally located. We were able to walk into Margaret River for dinner and to have a look around town. The Manager (Sean) was very nice and also helpful. We would definitely stay here again. It had been a few years since our last stay at Vintages and I'm glad we decided to return.

Vintages is perfectly located in the middle of Margaret River town, but in a quiet street. Sue was extremely helpful and welcoming, even when we left our key locked in the room! Little touches like water glasses in the fridge to keep them cold. The gardens are very well kept and give lots of shade. A great place to spend a few days exploring the area.

We stayed here for 3 nights. I chose it due to its location to the town and it was fabulous! A Woolies and a laundromat just down the road and then convenient to use as a starting point for day trips out to the wineries and gin distilleries!
The staff were amazing! We had a day where we had to lay low and Amber kindly got us some supplies from the supermarket and recommended a place for food for dinner and also kindly picked it up for us. Service above and beyond! Our room was very comfortable and all the amenities in it suited our needs.
Beds were comfy and we slept very soundly and our room faced onto the roadside! If I visit Margaret River again I will definitely stay here again!

We visited Margaret River over the christmas break and found we needed to add an extra night. The owners were most accommodating, and were able to offer us the same room throughout our stay, even though they were almost fully booked. The room itself was pleasant and spacious, with tea / coffee / fridge etc., and the bed was very comfortable. Vintages is close to the town, yet very quiet at night. We will return again, should we need accommodation to visit family.

We stayed in Unit 1, the Spa suite.
We were happy with the unit as it has no neighbours and a (small) outside place tom sit. When we arrived we were a bit taken back as the unit is right on the street, but in teh evening the street has no traffic anymor and we slept very well in a comfortable bed with great linnen.
Bathroom is clean and fresh, good towels and toiletries. Seperate toilet.
Apart from the reception which remains to only open in the morning and therefore check in is usually a note stuck to the door, the owners do take very well care of this place. Recent renovations have delivered brand new TVs with Netflix, fresh paint, etc. In our unit the red couch that still shows on the website has been replaced by 2 new comfortable leather seats. All in al it is a fine motel in a great location if you want stay near the center. Woolworth, laundry, ATM are e few steps away and the shops, reataurants and bars are just close enough to be a short walk and far enough not to cause any noise.
Kitchenette has a toaster, fridge and coffe and tea, but no stove.
We would stay again.

We were able to do laundry at a nearby laundromat within walking distance. It’s located near Morris, walk past the restaurant and round the corner, it’s kind of behind it. Make sure to bring lots of change.

We have a room with a double bed and the 2nd bedroom with 2 x single beds is close enough where the children could see you. Otherwise we have a large double bed and a single bed in the same room. Regards Sue
