We had a lovely room (Chapel Suite) with its own sitting/tv area and it’s own entrance/exit direct from verandah. The service and breakfast from Debbie were lovely. Delightful breakfast room. The guesthouse is a very short stroll to the main strip of Margaret River with its lovely restaurants and a short drive to beach and many wineries. The guesthouse combines a sense of place and old-word charm but with modern and well appointed facilities like bathrooms and beds.
My wife and I stayed for three nights on a short trip around the region. The accommodation is charming, comfortable and characterful and Deb is the perfect hostess. The location is so close to the heart of town and yet so peaceful and quiet you wouldn't know it. We would highly recommend it and we will certainly be staying here when next we visit the area.
Ideally located; 2 minute walk to township yet very quiet at the B&B. The room was cosy and clean with a lovely verandah accessible via the room to sit outside and read. Gardens and lawn surround the guest house, which includes outdoor furniture to sit and soak up the scenery. The room includes all you need to make your stay comfortable. Cooked breakfast each morning and home cooked afternoon tea included. Deb was helpful with local interests and very friendly. I will definitely stay at Deb's B&B on my next sojourn to our wonderful Margaret River. Thank you Deb for your hospitality.
After an unfortunate start to our trip at an intolerable Airbnb, we made a late night booking to stay at the Margret River Guest House for the remaining two nights. What an absolute treat! Check in with Debbie was so warm and welcoming, with a tour of the Guest House and it’s history which they are so very proud of (and rightly so!). We had our choice of rooms and chose to upgrade to the gorgeous Suite with courtyard - a tiny $20 extra per night from our original booking. Such a bonus! The room was enormous and clean, bedding fresh and comfortable, bathroom clean and modernised. Complimentary breakfast was wonderful home cooking by Debbie with Pete as the ever attentive host. Pace yourself - there’s a lot to eat!! Home baked afternoon tea, discount vouchers at local restaurants (incl Morries!!), evenings by the fire in the lounge with complimentary port are just some of the delightful touches of this Guest House. Thank you to Debbie and Pete for our wonderful stay and we cannot wait to come back!!…
Debbie and Pete were wonderful hosts. The grub was excellent - esp the gluten free cakes! In the room the thing which was striking, was the number of power points and their accessibility. As daft as it sounds - I've often found myself hunting for hidden sockets in swanky hotels.
