Mantra Geraldton garners mixed reviews, with its prime waterfront location being a highlight for guests seeking picturesque views. However, some visitors have expressed concerns over the hotel's amenities, facing challenges with inconsistent warm water and air conditioning, despite appreciating the spacious and clean rooms.
The establishment's atmosphere and room conditions are frequently criticized for appearing outdated and not justifying the price, leading to a consensus that the hotel falls short in providing value for money. While some guests encounter service issues, others commend the friendly staff.

We had a harbour view room on the 1st floor the view was superb overlooking the harbour & ocean.
The pool area was good with indoor & outdoor areas the only downside of this area was it isn’t manned & the teenagers were running riot with Bonnie’s around families & using plastic chairs in the pool & spa but overall we had a good experience around the pool. The location was good with beach on your door step as well as the Jaffle Shack next door & a restaurant down stairs also Coles, Kmart not far away.
The apartment had everything dishwasher, oven, cooktop, washer/dryer & tv I think a 2nd tv in 1 of the rooms would have been handy with kids but with them having IPads you can get away with out it.
Check in & check out was easy but the apartment wasn’t ready at 2pm. The only minor downside for us was that with cleaning only after 4 days is that no broom or dust pans were available for sweeping in between cleans & the outdoor balcony wasn’t swept beforehand but overall I would definitely stay again when going to Gero.

Great location with stunning views of the marina, ocean and working harbour. It was great to watch the big ships roll in and out. The apartment is well appointed in the living, kitchen, laundry and bedroom areas. Comfortable beds. However, the apartment is in desperate need of a deep steam clean with carpets, bathrooms, wall tiles and toilets showing evidence of deeply embedded dirt staining and grout mildew. We expected better cleanliness from this particular accommodation that is considered to be at the higher end of accommodation in the Geraldton area.

We arrived after the reception closed. There were clear instructions regarding after hour arrivals. The after hours hotel staff arrived within minutes and promptly checked us in. The Mantra hotel has all the necessities for a traveling family including laundry facilities in the room. Our room had a spa which is relaxing to use after a long drive.
Perfect location located on the Geraldton Foreshore and only minutes from shops and restaurants.

We stayed in a 2x2 apartment for 1 night. Thank goodness it wasn't any longer than that... The only positives were the location (on the foreshore) and the reception staff member we dealt with who was friendly and professional. Now the negatives... $250 for one night and we were placed on a busy road, the apartment was dirty (see pics of lime scale, dirt and hairs in the bathroom), room was full of mosquito's, no hot water (although we were given access to another - also dirty - apartment to access hot water), and the couch in the living room was super uncomfortable... I honestly think this is the worst value for money accommodation we have experienced anywhere in the world.

I stayed here for work for two nights. I was solo but ended up with a 3 bed two story apartment. Check in was very good, friendly and helpful. Finding our rooms and where to park was quite confusing. No one parked in the bays that reflected the room no.
My apartment was huge and looked great until you looked a bit further. It was just old and needed maintenance. Bathroom needed re-grouting in areas and had stains on the ceiling. Kitchen cupboard door was loose and just about to fall off. Tops of skirting boards hadn't been cleaned in ages. My ensuite shower had no hot water. I did let reception know and they were very helpful but it didn't get fixed straight away. Mantra Geraldton has now adopted this new way of making the beds where you don't get a duvet cover, just sheets folded around it which always end up coming away and you sleeping with a communal duvet that everyone else has sweated over. Its poor in hotels let alone an apartment with no daily housekeeping where you have to make the bed yourself. I found it impossible to make.
The tv was old and had no access to premium channels. (Don't show them if you can't supply them)
I'm a light sleeper and found the road noise quite loud at times.
The pool is lovely but NOT heated..
Reception says it's open 630-1900 but we tried checking out 645 but it was closed. We had to wait until bang on 7am until someone turned up. She did tell us we could have left the keys in the mail box but it would have been better if they opened on time or had a clear notice for the drop box.
This is meant to be premium accommodation but for the cost it's pretty poor...
Save your money and stay at one of the caravan parks with more facilities in a 2 bed cabin.

I wanted to take my friends on a road trip from Perth to Kalbarri and I decided to have Gerladton as the center point for the duration of the trip. Mantra seemed to have nice rooms and lots of options for 5-6 people in a spacious apartment. The receptionist was very welcoming and he gave us a nice room with a partial sea view which looked stunning. Our rooms were very well-maintained and everything was fully provided including all kitchen utensils. We loved the convenience of how easy it is to access the closest beach of Geraldton and it was one of the best beaches we've tried during our stay there. The hotel is perfectly located in midtown and everything was close by that we didn't need a car to most restaurants. Overall, we had a beautiful stay & we will come back again for sure.

Nice design. Spacious rooms but kitchen quite small. We didn't have 4 of everything but we were only 2 so it was fine.
New washer/dryer but the instructions were obviously for the previous one! I worked it out by trial and error!
Plenty of storage, good lighting, comfy bed and full length mirror in bedroom.
Very small safe which didn't work. It wouldn't take much anyway so I didn't bother to complain.
Only one plug between the spa bath and washbasin.
Cleaning was not great. I found a hair in the bath and another on the washer/dryer. The pipework behind the loo was thick with dust. (Picture).
We were ground floor and had road noise but it never troubled us to sleep.
Tap water tasted unpleasant so we bought spring water.
Location was convenient but we needed a car for a supermarket shop.
A refurb would work wonders.
It was very cheap for the size of room and obviously a refurb would result in a higher price. You get what you pay for.

We stayed in the new block. Although it was a bit of a pain walking across the car park to get to the pool, I'm glad we did because the apartment was lovely. I was slightly disappointed we couldn't get twin beds because I was travelling with three teens. One of the kids ended up sleeping on the couch but found it quite comfortable. The kitchen was reasonably well equipped although I'd have liked another pan to make cooking a little easier. Mattress in the main bedroom was a little soft for my taste.
Highlight of the apartment was definitely the HUGE bathtub, I wish I could take that home with me! Washer/dryer was also very new and perfect for getting our clothes dry, however it would be great to add a small drying rack as well, for things that can't be tumble dried.
The location was perfect as we could walk from the TransWA bus and to many of the town's attractions, also we were right on the water.

Visited reception to a very warm welcome, and offered a coffee on arrival from the Nespresso coffee machine in reception (it was a really good coffee!)
Checked into my 2 bedroom apartment and it’s huge!
Very clean, spacious and comfortable.
Fast wifi, laundry in 2nd bathroom.
You read that correctly, 2 bedrooms AND 2 bathrooms!
Safe to say I’ll be staying here again next time, and I’ll be grabbing another coffee at reception when I check out!

Best hotel in the North. Easily located and along the water-front. Right in the heart of the city where you can walk to everywhere. Had a restaurant on site (Skeetas) but didn't go there as they required shoes (unfortunately!). Very relaxed vibe for a beach hotel that is very classy.
Rooms were large and comfortable. We had a two-bedroom apartment and it came with a small kitchen and had a washing machine as well.
Would definitely return to again if we are in the area.

Thank you for enquiring.
Yes the ensuite (bath & shower) for the main bedroom is private access from the bedroom.
The second bedrrom is connected to a shower although this can also be accessed by another door as the laundry is also located in this area.
Thank you for your enquiry.
Unfortuntaely no, all our harbour view apartments (which face onto the Marina) are two bedrooms.
They are located in our Northshore accomodation complex (which contains our superior class apartments including harbour views however all these partments are two bedroom in size).
