Despite having a pleasant stay for 5 nights on a powered campsite over the New Year period, it is difficult to recommend this caravan park. There were little things that did not create a good first impression. The swimming pool has been damaged and thus emptied. The ablutions block near the reception is very old and needs updating. The first toilet I used had no toilet paper, the 2nd, no lock on the door. Some campsites are nicely shaded, however several had no shade at all. The kitchen behind reception was good with 2 clean fridges, but the one nearest the campsites had one old smelly rusting fridge and very sticky benches. Our campsite was located near the nicer ablutions block, however my key to the building didn't work. My replacement key also didn't work. Luckily my neighbours were happy to share their key, but that was not a great solution for 5 females needing to use the facilites during the night. Showers were adequate, but not great. There is a jumping pillow for kids (although very hot during the day). There is a TV in the BBQ kitchen and the BBQs are cleaned each morning. The beach is 10 minutes walk away (but not always swimmable due to seaweed). The cabins looked quite nice from the outside. We had a good time exploring Geraldton and surrounds, but it wasn't really enhanced by the campsite. They appeared to be almost fully booked out during the post-Christmas period so hopefully they have brought in enough money to improve and update the facilities.

We were originally only going to stay 2 nights but ended staying 4 nights because they had a really good special of $25/night for a powered site.
Nice big concrete slab for your van and to put your awning out. The services were on the correct side of the van. My only negative comment about the site we were on would be the overhanging tree that left pine needles everywhere and left the car and van filthy.
The amenities are nice and modern however the showers could use some bleach and elbow grease as they were quite dirty and don’t look like they have been cleaned for some time (make sure you wear thongs in the shower,
I think some shower curtains would prevent the changing area of the shower from becoming full of water.

We are here for a week to recoup and relax and we have had a drive around Geraldton and it doesn't seem like a bad place to do this. I had a little bit of a hic up booking in because I am a G'Day member and I booked on line and couldn't see how to get the discount here I decided just to leave it until we arrived. The girl who booked us in was new and told me because we had paid in full she couldn't do the discount. I asked that she spoke to someone else because I knew this wasn't correct and it was all sorted. The service was good apart from that little glitch. We had problems finding our site, I don't think this was can be completely attributed to us as the park is a strange configuration of one way streets and the map is very hard to follow, we have seen other people trying to find their way around. We eventually found our site and we were very happy to see that it is a very large concreted site and there is a grass area to park our car. We soon worked out how to get into and out of the park but not the easiest one we have been in. I think there is a train shunting track behind us that we here from time to time, this is not a problem for us and we find every park we have been in has their own noise.

A popular caravan, camping and cabins spot south of Geraldton city. Beach is a five minute walk away. Town centre is a 10 minute drive away. Lots of casuarina trees for shade, pool and jumping pillow to amuse the kids. Some new and some old ablutions blocks and laundry facilities. Cleanliness of ablutions needs to be checked at busy times as some guests didn't unfortunately know how to leave things clean for others. Cabins are popular and comfortable. With the exception of one bossy lady, most of the office staff are very welcoming and accommodating. Grounds staff do a great job keeping the place clean. Lawns for campers and grass, soil and hard stand for caravaners. Have stayed before and will stay again.

Facilities were the cleanest of any campsite I’ve been to. Location was idyllic, with the ocean literally within eyesight over the fence. The facilities were impeccably clean and the kitchen was equipped with tea towels, paper towel, various utensils, mugs, plates etc. To top that off there was a big lounge that we had to ourselves with a big TV which was really the cherry on top and a lovely way to unwind after a beach hopping field day. Thanks again guys for a brilliant stay.

First off the good, lady at the counter was super great, site had nice large trees, $25 a night special

But, the thing not advertised in the brochure is the freight train line which runs along the fence line. A train here or there is not really an issue, but they are frequent and operate on a 24/7 schedule. They brake and the carriages shunt all hours of the day and night. Expect to be woken up a few times each night (I am a deep sleeper). I'm pretty accepting/easy going but this was a bit much. I ended up cutting my stay in Geraldton shorter than I initially planned. Not sure which came first, the train or the park, but the caravan park should be relocated.

Adding to this the bathroom resembled a public toilet at times and I ended up avoiding using the showers.

As a result of this, it is the first park I've visited that I could not recommend and would actually advise people to avoid

Caravan Park was in great location to Geraldton CBD & beaches but very noisy with shunting trains at nearby wharf and traffic movement. Staff were very friendly and the new ablution block was nice but the other ablution block was very old. Suggest if you need to stay close to city book just one night and see how you go...unfortunately we booked 2 and couldn't get a refund after our sleepless night, not even earplugs work that well.

The facilities at the Geraldton Belair Gardens Caravan Park are a little old and tired. Staff were very friendly though. The location is not great as we could hear trains/trucks loading and shunting in the wee hours of the morning. Not great for a good night's sleep.

We had a deluxe two bedroom cabin, which was in a quiet location and just a short drive into the town centre. The caravan park was clean and tidy and staff very welcoming. The location is just a short distance from the fishing port which some excellent fresh seafood available. The cabin was clean and comfortable with all we needed for a two night stay. We walked down to the local beach from the park.

We arrived Boxing Day and on checking in advised that our booking had been cancelled, they then gave us a site for our caravan we drove to site to find someone else already on the site, not a great start to our weeks holiday. We were allocated another site.
The kids were excited as they saw the Jump Pillow and swimming pool when we drove in once set up we went to have a look the kids loved the jump pillow but extremely hot as the sun shades are not up and no shade in playground area, then checked the swimming pool it is empty, kids not happy.
Do the washing today and only one drier is working😡
