Stayed 2 nights here experiencing Geraldton. Being a ‘brand hotel’ we thought we couldn’t go wrong, but this property needs a total refurb. Room was old, and not overly clean either. There is no housekeeping provided on the weekend, but extra milk, t-bags, towels were not in the room, which was a little disappointing. There is a bar and restaurant onsite, which is handy, but we didn’t go there so cannot comment on that, instead we went to the pub a few minutes walk away, which was quite nice. This Ibis is disappointingly overpriced for what it is and how it is presented! Happy to report that the staff we encountered were friendly and efficient!

The staff were very kind and responsive after they had been hassled by a drunk customer, they offered to escort me back to my room. Very kind. Rooms were clean and tidy with no problems and the meals were fine. The kitchen staff had a good understanding of coeliac dietary needs and we’re able to provide a good meal.

We visited Geraldton for a week, and although this property is not very central, it was well-appointed, with pool and daily breakfast, and the room was great. The staff were friendly, and we even tried the bar. Points for improvement include the ensuring coffee machine is working, and the breakfast could include pancakes or pastries.

Ibis style has little style, it’s very old and tired, the front looks modern but as soon as you got into the rooms they just look tired and dirty, I wouldn’t recommend staying here! Shame we had too!
Paint peeling off walls, poor repairs, all wooden surfaces have had water that’s led to bubbling, light didn’t work in bathroom, area where kettle is disgusting

This is my second stay at the property, and this stay was far poorer than my previous stay. The whiff of sewage as I entered the room should have sent me straight to the foyer to request another room, but I thought after a clean by the daily cleaning crew that would fix it. But I was wrong. Also there were unrepaired large cracks in the walls and a complete lack of basic amenities such as a box of tissues or bottled drinking water. The breakfast which was included in the price last time was Now extra so the value proposition is quite poor for this property. Also the light in the bathroom was linked to a faulty exhaust fan that was noisy. Basic maintenance is a problem for this property…

In my opinion the motel is extremely tired and dirty and in desperate need. I appreciate that is this hotel is one of Accor's "Economy" brands but the hotel was just do bad, paint coming off the walks, furniture, damaged and in need of a good clean. The floor was dirty, I had a shower, walked to my bed and my feet were filthy. The photos of the hotel are not true to the room that you get. The curtains in my room had fallen off their hooks. I have stayed in Ibis Economy hotels before this is by far the worst I have ever stayed in, very disappointed Accor, budget or not the room should be clean and furniture in a reasonable condition.

The rooms are spacious and very clean. Good working air-conditioner and nice big flat-screen television. Comfortable beds with clean but dated linens. Room is decked out with kettle tea/coffee/mugs, extra pillow & blankets, iron/ironing board & alarm clock, everything that you need for an overnight/short stay.
Clean and functional bathrooms, with good water pressure, good lighting, decent wattage hairdryer and separate toilet.
Plenty of onsite parking, restaurant, pool & guest laundry. Very welcoming reception & friendly staff. Great for a stopover.

This place is a disappointment paid $294 for one night three adults. Only had one chair to sit on the sheets were dirty full of sand in the end of the bed. No hot water had cold showers. The manhole was half open. No bin liners in the bin. The two single beds had wheels on and that cannot lock so every time you move the bed would move. We had a 65-year-old lady with us when she tried to get added to bed the bed on wheels would be moving everywhere we had to help her get in and out of bed this is totally unsafe and disgusting. One pillow per bed. We expected more for the price we paid. A one night experience here has disappointed us and will never ever stay in one of these hotels ever again. No table and chairs outside so we cannot sit outside. I was polite when I went to reception to discuss our disappointment and all I got was all the hot waters ran out again it happens all the time. there are no bin liners and she said she knows they don’t put bin liners in the bins because of the unwonted plastics. I felt like saying are you serious or is this a joke. There was no apology there was nothing the lady just kept on working didn’t even look me in the eye. Thank you for your lack of customer service and satisfaction ibis Styles Geraldton.

Came here because we couldn’t afford the Mantra. The decor is pretty old. I couldn’t figure out the shower. Hot tap goes one way and the cold tap the other. So it was hard to adjust to the correct temperature. Had dinner at the in-house restaurant and it tasted pretty good for the price. I did have an Accor card and used it when booking with them on the phone but I forget to ask for a discount in the restaurant or ask for a welcome drink, but it wasn’t offered from them either. There is a petrol station next door if you want to buy a newspaper or coffee. The bed was alright. The hard part is trying to sleep in a motel when everyone is starting their cars at 4/5 or 6 am. But that’s a motel for you. I think I will try save my money next time for a more modern hotel. Otherwise it’s a reasonable place if you are just staying overnight.

Hi,
We have available a Family room (one queen bed and four single beds) which may suit if the young child is still sleeping in a cot. This room is available for $199.00 including continental breakfast.
If the youngest child requires a bed I would recommend booking two rooms - a Standard Twin room (one queen bed and one single bed) and a Family room (one queen bed and three singles) which is $328.00 including continental breakfast.
Our rooms are hotel rooms and we don't have any self contained rooms - we can provide a microwave upon request.
Please don't hesitate to contact me if you require any further information or would like to proceed with the reservation.
Kind regards
Ben Murphy
