Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

We booked an "Executive Queen" for the first few nights of our holiday before travelling on to other destinations. The room was very spacious, furnishings were up to date and well looked after. We especially liked the small room ("Dressing room"?) where we could place our suitcases on a bench for easy access, and there was generous hanging space, plus shelves for our clothes. We also appreciated the double glazing onto the balcony which cut the noise of the highway traffic (including road trains!) so we got a good night's sleep. When we checked out we were informed that only rooms on the upper level have a balcony and double glazing - rooms on the ground floor have neither balcony nor double glazing. So we booked a similar room on the upper level for our return trip.

We decided to splurge on a real bed and hot shower for an overnight stop on the way home from camping - superior room with 1 x queen and 1 x single was huge for 2 adults and a child - the beds were super comfy and the shower was high pressure and hot. Fan in the bathroom and the toilet flush were both pretty noisy but worked fine. The kitchenette was handy to make breakfast and get going. Bit of noise from the highway and others getting ready/leaving in the morning but we would definitely stay there again.

I've stayed here a few times and the rooms are spacious, clean and well serviced if a little dated. Apart from local TV there is no other in-room entertainment. I always have dinner here (work) and find whilst the menu is varied the food is overpriced and quality inconsistent (Overcooked, Perfect, Rawish). It is difficult to book dinner even when staying here as they obviously can't handle the restaurant and room service. Breakfast is a basic continental. There is the main road outside your windows but if you close the storm windows the noise is pretty low.

I usually book online but was running out of time so called and booked direct The lady who took our booking was lovely and offered us a discount on the best room as my husband had stayed there before.
Very clean room with a nice smell, best mattress to sleep on, balcony was a good size.
We ate at George’s restaurant, fantastic service from the young ladies serving and the food was amazing. A bonus that the chef came out to see how our food was so we could tell him how good it was. We will be recommending the hotel and restaurant to our friends in Karratha.
Keep up the great work 👍🏻

I recently stayed in the Geraldton Motor Inn, I had the best experience with the customer service team. The team is made up of hotel reception, bottle shop and bar and restaurant staff. I stayed in a room that was “ok” it had everything I needed for my short stay. The highlight however was the restaurant!! Oh My! the food was exquisite!!! Perfectly cooked and super tasty. I ordered the Shark Bay Bugs off the special board that was highly recommended by the staff. The restaurant staff were super friendly and very accomodating to my needs and really added to my experience; I would highly recommend this restaurant - George’s Restaurant located @ Geraldton Motor Inn

We had booked the Ibis Styles for a 1 night stopover on the drive back from Monkey Mia, however when we saw it on the way north we chaged our minds and booked this place as it looked so much better for the same price.
We got a family roon for $130 and it was excellent comfy beds, great sheets and towels, spacious and good bathroom. Onsite bottle shop and petrol station across the way. Will definitely stay again.

The rooms here are surprisingly large, much bigger than your average motel room. Plenty of welcome space for your bags. Plenty of tea and coffee and milk, they don't stint on these unlike many places so well done. Big bathroom great shower pressure and bathroom toiletries provided. Rooms have individual aircon plus tv, fridge, kettle, microwave ,cutlery, iron, hairdryer and a writing desk. A good place to stay, particularly good value vis a vis others in Geraldton and you get a continental breakfast. Recommended

We only stay here when our preferred Motel, Best Western, is full. I booked over the phone and at no time was I told they are not providing the Continental breakfast. So we go to the dining room in the morning and it's closed. I go to reception and smug girl tells me the Government have stopped them from providing breakfast. Funny that. All the other Motels are providing breakfast. I ask if we will get a discount and of course I'm told breakfast is free anyway. Yeah right, free! As if we don't know it's included in the price. They are saving a whole lot on that. The TV in our room is on a bracket on the wall right above the mini fridge at the other side of the room. It is too far from the bed, but you can't move it closer. Bend down to the fridge and not be mindful of the TV above and you have a sore head. Outside the room was an overpowering smell of sewage, yet no point telling the someone at reception who clearly makes you feel she doesn't care. Next time our preferred is full we'll be going somewhere else.

I made a real mess when booking our holiday through Expedia
I phoned the Motor Inn and spoke with Carmen who managed to sort out the problem with the help from Stacey. My wife and I arrived from Perth on 15th Feb
Very enthusiastic welcome from Stacey. The room was spacious, comfortable beds, TV, wifi. Two levels of car parking. Restaurant with free breakfast consisting of fruit, cereal, toast, tea coffee, yogurt, juices, cold meat. Very short drive to the foreshore. On the way to Monkey Mia
My wife and I recommend staying here. Great staff.

Comfy bed. They offered free breakfast from 5am until 8am. Bit early for me after not getting much sleep. Rooms have double glazing but that does not help so much noise from the road outside. Great restaurant really good food
