Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

This caravan park has automated check in, which doesn't let you check in until after 2.00pm and doesn't give you a map, just a site number. If you need help to check in you have to ring a number provided. The amenities are average, but clean. They don't have a bbq. This park is 10km out of Geraldton on a back road.

Have stayed in Geraldton on a few occasions but closer to the beach and city. Average park and amenities with cramped sites. Wi fi limited and only near the office. Not much to do within walking distance but ok for an overnighter.

We picked this park for closeness to event we were attending as very limited in area.
So very disappointing for the price we paid. Stayed in a Chalet that was tiny, only 1 chair to watch the tv, otherwise you sat on a hard wood kitchen chair, bunk beds were not even made (we're not using them but still) ants crawling all over the benches and bathroom vanity, dead cockroach left on floor, obviously not swept before we came in. The bathroom was also small and shower recess was tucked into a tight little corner with water changing from hot to cold while showering. Toilet was not grouted onto tiles so moved quite freely. Air conditioner was over front door so had to stand on chair to turn on. Went for a swim pool filter not on and hadn't been cleaned for a few days as leaf litter was piling on the bottom.
Won't be recommending to anyone!

Our room was called a chalet, however it was BYO everything, no soap, no milk, no shampoo, even the door to our room was missing, Grotty tea and coffee not in sachets. Bed was like sleeping on concrete, the bunks were bent and there was a soft spot on the floor due to rot. They had the nerve to put up a sign that said if you want a clean oven, microwave and fridge you needed to pay an extra $38. Lots of run down permanants onsite, riff raff in abundance

When we broke down on our way North from Perth we ended up staying at this little gem for 4nights while our car got fixed. They were so flexible with our stay as we were going day by day. They also liaised directly with the RAC to organise payment to save us doing it.
Staff were amazing, friendly and ran the site really well looking to assist where ever possible. In general the place was clean, tidy with excellent showers in an abulation block that is cleaned daily.
Would certainly recommend staying here if you are looking to explore Geraldton and the surrounding area or even if stopping through.
Well kitted out camp kitchen and large grass oval down the back for kids to run about in.

We stay at the EV4 chalet that sleeps 6 people, the place is clean and had extra pillows & blankets for cold nights. The community toilets and shower were close by where we can use, whilst our toilet was being used. Jason and his care taker was amazing & prompted when we needed lights bulb changed.
Location- close to lots of beaches and to the city.

The reception staff are friendly but that's where the good stuff ends.
The park is old, tired and very run down with potholed roads. The web site is impressive but that's as good as it gets and beware there is one price for online booking and another for in person.
Cheap price doesn't equal good value, I seriously recommend you look elsewhere.
I WON'T BE BACK

My partner and I thought we would treat ourselves to a ‘chalet’ as we have been camping the past two weeks. When we arrived the ‘chalet’ had a strong urine smell and also had filthy walls and was so run down. The kind of place you want to back out of and never look back. I told management and they promptly ‘upgraded’ us to the much bigger ‘cottage’.

While it is spacious, it is terribly run down, I mean, it is pretty nasty. The doors are so filthy the look like they haven’t been cleaned in years. The kitchen curtain is disgusting. A wardrobe is falling apart and had a leg missing so it nearly toppled on me. I did not want to touch anything. There was no soap in the bathroom and barely any toilet paper. Lucky I had all my own towels and cleaning products and bedding!

But the worst was that it is infested with cockroaches. There is a laminated note from management apologizing for a possible problem with rats and roaches and spiders etc. I saw 4 cockroaches in the space of two minutes in the middle of the night, on top of other ones in the evening. Could hear rats scratching in the ceiling. Ended up sleeping in my car. It is the most disgusting place I have ever stayed, regretted not turning around the minute we set foot in the place.

I have told management in the morning and was told they are aware of the problem and that’s why they have baits. I explained that it is a bigger problem than that. Maybe they could let people know before they pay.

The rest of the park looks so dodgy too, like some horrible shantytown and there is also a plague of rabbits everywhere. Avoid the place!

We were extremely inconvenienced by this place. They booked us in. Took our money. We left home with our three dogs and drove for over an hour from Shark Bay toward Geraldton and staff first messaged us to let us know they'd made a terrible mistake and double booked us. We had no other accommodation options as we are travelling with dogs last minute. It was only after we didn't answer the message that they had the courtesy to call and let us know. We've been forced to stay in a hotel and the dogs have to sleep in the car. So very disappointing.

Don’t be fooled by the word Chalet. I had a different picture to what was rented to us. Lots of broken floor titles, moulding and framing deteriorating or not there, spoil the aesthetics. Bedroom fan didn’t work. No bedside lights. No soap or hair wash products. Comfortable bed though. Needs major refurbishment.
