Detailed Reviews
I had rung around for a room on a Thirsday to find Geralton was fully booked. This was my 6th call and we got a queen studio for $129. This is a busy, sprawling oufit with a lot of rooms like a rabbit warren, it took a while to find the room. You swipe your room card to gain entry to the Motel complex and rception is back around the front which is accessed from the main car park or the Restaurant. Our room was clearly recently renovated and looked lovely when we walked in. New carpet, USB ports next to the bed. Bedside lights working, small kettle and tea and coffee etc. A luggage table so you can get your bag off the floor. Big screen TV well located on the wall opposite your bed. Comfortable mattress and nice, clean pillows with pillow protectors. (I took the covers off and looked. I have stayed in MANY Hotels around the world and had filthy pillows hidden underneath the pillow cases! I used to travel with my own small travel pillow for that reason, but that's another story.) All great. All in all an attractive room and bathroom. There are a couple of small things I didn't like.
The shower has a huge rainhead that you can't avoid. It is 8 feet high so of course it is not adjustable. I know they are fashionable but I want to avoid getting my hair wet so I spent the whole shower bent backwards with my head against the glass! Sometimes a shower cap is provided but not on this occasion.
The bed has a thin blanket which you hardly feel, whereas I like a doona and to feel the weight of a covering on me. Hubby was bothered by the light on the airconditioner that lit up the room so we turned it off thinking the room would stay warm. It didn't as it was a cold night and the blanket was usesless so it had to go on again.
The Restaurant is very busy and crowded and they do good sized meals. We got 2 vouchers for free drinks and when I asked to have bigger ones and pay the extra it turned out I paid the full price. When I queried it the bar tender told me that was correct. Luckily a Supervisor heard this and gave me a full refund.
When we left at 8.40 am reception was locked, despite the hours supposedly being 8am, so we didn't know where to leave the card. I spoke to a cleaner who told me we have to leave the card in the room. So we had to drive back through the gate, open the room and put the swipe card in there.
This is a good place to stay despite the small things.

Paid almost $200 for one night for a tiny room that had anything but a kitchen sink. Upon arrival we checked under the beds and found either very old cereal or rat baits with a putrid smell. There were spiderwebs on the doorframe and the room just didn’t give off clean vibes. We were disappointed but out of options as everywhere else was booked but we thought at least we have a place to sleep, right? WRONG! The extremely old mini fridge kept us up until 2am when we finally decided to unplug it. We were rudely awoken the next morning at 5:30 am to the voices of very inconsiderate adults talking loudly outside our door and screaming and crying children, who’s needs went unfulfilled for the next hour as they continued to scream bloody murder. On the plus side, the beds were very comfortable and the bathroom was nice. The best part about the room was the smart TV, though it was not worth it and I would not stay here again.

Not worth it, even at discounted rate. Rooms look fantastic and are spotless but the bed was so uncomfortable and room very stuffy. Pool was filthy. Avoid room 25. We were unable to sleep as the bed had a large dip in the middle, so big that we both kept rolling into it, it was like trying to sleep in a sink hole. Extremely uncomfortable and husband and I left with very sore backs. All we ask when we travel is for a comfortable bed, luckily we only stayed the one night. Rooms beautifully renovated, money has obviously been spent but why wouldn't you replace the old, sagging mattress? Totally unacceptable.

We have stayed here before and I remembered the horrible rain shower head so I brought a shower cap. Lucky I did as they don't provide one. These heads are fashionable but a nuisance if you don't want to wet your hair. Which I don't! The water is hot and strong. There is s sign in the bathroom telling you hairdryers are available at reception. Another nuisance to have to trek there for a hairdryer. The rooms are nice and clean and the bed and pillows are very comfortable. Plenty of power points for recharging. Nice big screen TV that is well placed for watching from bed!
One strange thing. There are 2 windows that face the courtyard and when the blinds are up everyone can see in! When they are down it's dark.
You get 2 drink vouchers and the restaurant on site does good meals . Convenient secure parking behind gates. We would stay again

Stayed here for one night on the drive north from Perth.
Place doesn’t look much from the outside, but the rooms look recently refurbished and have comfortable beds! They are on the small side but that was perfect for what we needed, our room had one large double bed and a single, bar fridge, Tele, and a small but nice bathroom and shower. The place was exceptionally clean!
We ate dinner at the restaurant and cashed in our free drink vouchers. The place was absolutely pumping, families everywhere, despite that our food came out in reasonable time and the servings were huge!
The waitstaff and hotel staff we encountered were all extremely friendly. The only reason this doesn’t get 5 out of 5 is because of the price- $220 for the night, but the free secure parking almost makes up for that, we would definitely stay here again!

Yup, was pleased with our overnight stay. Nice, new renovated room, friendly staff, free drink vouchers, easy check in and check out. Would definitely stay again. My only feedback is the (current COVID) limited menu; needs more veggie/vegan options.

We stayed here as a first stop from Perth when travelling up to Port Hedland. Room was exactly what we wanted and was hoping for. We also ate at the restaurant and were happy with our meal. We did find the previous occupants floss pick under our bed when looking for one of our sons toys but that's the only complaint

I used this as a stop over on a trip. Unfortunately I got in at about 7pm and found it difficult to find staff to help me book in. Once I did everything was fine and the room was really nice. Would have been better value if I had a travel companion or if they had rooms for solo travellers. Not sure if it’s because of the time of year or the day of the week but it was pretty sleepy and kitchen/bar was closing at about 8pm. Menu was a bit limited.
All in all the room was really nice and modern. Would stay again.

Good clean basic room for overnight stay on way up north from Perth. Good secure car park for cars and cars with trailers/campers.
Don't be put off by the pub car park. It looks like a tradie pub, and most probably is. The check in staff were friendly and helpful. The accommodation was clean and airy. There was definitely no smell.
Aircon for heating was quiet. Water in shower was hot. Too hot maybe. (Take care if you have children. The water could be scalding). We did not eat at the pub, choosing to travel to town for a walk and dinner. We did have a couple of drinks in the pub, and the dinner range looked good and was popular.
In summary, a good clean affordable room for overnight or business stay. A good place to base for exploration around Geraldton

First time in 10 years of frequent regional travel that a hotel left me without accommodation despite arranging late check-in. No after hours contact. Didn’t even provide refund until chased up two weeks later. Booking.com did not provide support nor resolution.
